Taking up kickboxing again sounds like a good idea to me if you found it helped and you enjoyed it
Don't let the morons get to you, keep your head held high. Stay on the meds, they'll do you good eventually.

I don't know what all has happened here but can you either take it to PMs or another thread.
Normally I wouldn't object but I don't want to see this thread, of all, get closed as a lot of people find it useful and supportive.
KKTHNX.
exactly.
grow up please. and if you can't grow up, go away.
normally i hate people saying this, but i think it's true of this thead: if you have nothing useful to add, fuck off elsewhere.
I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere now - I've nearly come to the end of my assessment sessions at a local clinic and the therapist I've been seeing has advised me to come in for intensive psychotherapy, 3 times a week (the logic being that fortnightly appointments like I had at home left me merely treading water). This doesn't bother me, however breaks for holidays etc. are fairly strictly watched - I'd be expected to not see her for 2 weeks over easter, 4 over Summer and no more. However, this will cause some problems with my degree programme (I'm expected to spend a good deal of time abroad over summer).
I suppose what I'm asking is would people advise I tell my tutor and try to work around it or work the therapy around my degree? I'm a bit nervous of telling my tutor so I'd naturally veer toward the latter but I'm not sure.
Sorry if it seems a strange or obvious question! Thanks all, as ever. x
Edited to add: I'd also fully recommend rewarding yourself with incentives for not cutting. I spent like £50 that I don't have on friday
Edited again coz I've actually read the whole thing now
And thanks franki:)
