How many firms do you have in mind you want to apply to?
I roughly took a guess and printed out 15 copies to start with then went up to the local shopping centre and just handed one into all the place i wanted to work.
You have to start with small steps. Stop panicking over the job, uni, friends, a life etc etc. You'll never get anywhere being overwhelmed by everything you feel you have to do. Take one step at a time. The job. Just that one thing. Once you do that first thing, you'll have the confidence and mroe motivation to do something else, eg, apply to uni, go out and do things etc, plus youll have a reason to get up each day instead of the same old and driving yourself mad.
Its no wonder you feel you're losing you grip on reality when you're not really in reality because youve isolated yourself to that bubble.
Im the same, here safe in a bubble as you put it, but 5 days a week i leave it for the majority of the day(got to work), then i return to it, back to that safe place in the evening. I fucking hate it but i think going off sick or leaving it will make it even harder for me to get better.
Stop being so defeatest.
CV's are total bullshit. make it up. you got no hobbies?? make them up. say you like football, socialising, music, computers. whos going to know?.
If 15 isnt enough you can always print off more and take them back. I find phoning places quite hard sometimes so depending on how i feel i will post my cv to places, or go to the local store.
for fucks sake star ...do you need to ask which leg to put forward first when you walk ...do you need to be told to breath out as well as in?
for fucks sake man!!!!!!!
it needs discussing in the iopen. you need to stop hiding.
and it realy is getting pathetic when you have to start asking how many should you print ...fucking get up ...grow up ...make some moves.
RICHEH: Thank you, Richeh. I'll do that as soon as I possibly can.
MORROCAN ROLL: I do realise that I'm extraordinarily difficult to help. I agree with you. If you want to discuss this, I'm here.
RICHEH: Thank you for your help. If you want, I'll send you a copy of my CV so you can have a look at it for yourself.
you have had all the answers that are available in this world it would seem to me ...then you come back and aske for them all again ...and again.
at twenty years old ..."how many should i print" ...come on man!
you will be telling us next that you are literaly incapable of standing on your own two feet ...
...That's it?
You state the obvious ALL the time. Of course he's right, don't be so bloody vague..What are you gonna do about it?
Next, I intend to apply for university. I'm not decided exactly as to what to do, but areas that have me interested so far are Psychology, English and Social Studies. In terms of a career, I'm still not sure, but at least I'm starting to get some ideas. Special thanks to Lukesh for helping me with this particular one.
Finally for now, I'm hoping that by applying for a job and such, I might be able to find some friends in the process and thus won't be winding you people up so often. (no doubt you'll be pleased to hear that, fiend_85 ) It seems I've managed to muster up a positive attitude to this. Thanks to Lukesh and Lizzy for being there for me, and thank you to all contributors to this thread. All very interesting. Thank you.

:banghead: did you read any of the other stuff I wrote?
Less of the negative " i'm to blame for my own problems" more of the positive " I'm going to change my life for the better and be happy" Dammit stick to it dude
Stop thinking about who's to blame, or blaming yourself right now!
2005 is going to be a good year for you, you'll damn well make sure it is because we're all trying to help you on here
