don't go assuming im naive because i think that if all the brits get the jobs everything will be ok. i know that catering etc gets away with low pay etc, but if a british person is desperate enough for money then they would do that job
I'm sorry, but you do come across as naive (not an insult, an observation - I was very naive at your age too).
why are they my problem? i swear i stated that in my first post in the debate.....well neway, because in my area of london we have the biggest intake of immigrants in london. those immigrants get houses that people like my family need. my parents both work but cannot afford a house big enough for 6 people. an immigrant can,however, walk into the brent council office, claim asylum and get a 4 bedroom house. they clutter the streets all day, spitting, leering, stealing etc. they do not respect the british culture. that is why they are my problem.
and im not blaming the white race because of the actions of the illegals etc.....so i wudnt be racist

No, you are naive because you don't know how these things work. Poor British people would claim benefits rather than work in some of these industries 'cos they'd be better off. There are also laws protecting UK citizens from exploitation etc. Illegal immigrants cannot claim benefits and are not protected by these laws.

now whos tarring everyone with the same brush? and from my personal experiences, i know damn well that my parents would work any shit menial job even if they are exploited than claim benefits. some british people still have dignity.

:rolleyes: As I said - there are laws to protect UK citizens from exploitation, these do not apply to illegal immigrants. People in these industries would rather employ illegal immigrants over UK citizens for these very reasons.
as for the food industry ...in the observer a couple of months ago it was estimated that the entire uk food industry could start grinding to a halt if all the illegals were rounded up.
slaughter houses, pizza factories etc. in north wales we have one of the biggest pizza making and packing operations in europe.
one of my sons worked there temp last year. he reckons 70% of the work force couldn't speak english. most of them had degrees or trades. almost every pizza you can name that is a pre packaged one has come from this one north wales factory.
it's not ideal but it shows we don't have enough people to keep us as the worlds 5th largest economy in the world.

So all the ones hanging out on the streets are here illegally are they? How do you know? Have you asked them? I'd have thought they'd keep a low profile if they were...certainly the illegal immigrants I know do.

i know ethnicity is tied in with race, but they are not exclusively the same. there are 4 major races, mainly based on skin colour, but we're not going to get into the science side of race/ethnicity. but anyway, im not 'racist' against white people, especially considering im half white, so i cannot be racist, only prejudice.
firstly how do you know that they aren't immigrants (the ones on the streets) have you asked them? secondly, i know in my area they are because a report was done around 3 months ago to update the brent people on the ethnicity and country of birth etc status. more like a cencus if you will.
