I know this is not on the subject of Abu Hamza; I just want to make the point about death row in the US which has been mentioned in this debate.

From what I have read about the death penalty in the US is that it is racist as a higher proportion of Black or Hispanic people are sentenced to death in the US then compared to whites.

    http://www.clubs.psu.edu/up/sayar/death.htm

Also there is difference when it comes to class. You are more likely to be sentenced to death in the US for committing murder if you are from a working class background.

There is also the fact that there is the execution of people, who are mentally ill,

    http://www.amnestyusa.org/abolish/mental_illness.html
The UN Safeguards Guaranteeing Protection of the Rights of those Facing the Death Penalty, adopted by the UN Economic and Social Council resolution of May 25, 1984, states: "…nor shall the death sentence be carried out…on persons who have become insane."

and because she hasn't got a scary hook.

I don't know why we hear nothing about her. Possibly because that Hamza's target audience are more likely to act on the things he says, and Coulter's target audience will either agree and then do nothing, disagree and ignore her, and the group that agree and act are so unbelievably small or powerless we don't notice.

Most people dont really like having to resort to violence, but the adadge 'desperate times call for desperate measures' does apply.

I have to say that it is your problem and not theirs what they know about you and what they don't know.
Without wanting to start a new discussion about Israel, I'll just mention that the reason I keep so firm on my point is that the thought of someone reading the boards and not reading that point of view scares me.
I don't know who reads and what they get out of it. In matters which I think are important I wouldn't say something just for the case of it and to provoke, unless it is really meant.

If you see your kids blown up by the Israelis, for example, you won't exactly mind going and killing 20 of them.

Both sides suffer in Israel because ofthe violence of the Israeli government.

    It's the same in Chechnya.

Al Qaeda are different though, IMHO.

we have done the right thing refusing to hand him over to the americans ...where he might not even survive long enough in an american jail to reach trial.
he should be tried here on whatever evidence there is against him.
and it should be made public ...none of this internment crap ...

It could also be said that a fair amount of Coulter's target audience are not only a bunch of bigoted-as-fuck extremist rednecks but they also have at their disposal an arsenal of guns and automatic weapons the Highbury crowd could only dream of.

I know which lot poses a far greater danger AFAICC.
