binged a bunch of 2000s romcom type films like Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Wild Child, such a happy time with my sister thinking about how cool we always thought the girls in it were !!

The 2000s were great. I am really glad you also have favourable memories of the 2000s. Thanks for reminding me of my childhood too @AislingDM. Though, a lot of my 2000s were spent watching the Disney channel at sleepovers with friends!

The other day I rewatched Lemonade Mouth and finished the third After film, the series is so bad but in a hilarious binge-worthy way

Watched Tick, Tick...Boom recently and was blown away (no pun intended) by how great it was. A really moving (true) story but done in a really authentic way. Who knew Andrew Garfield could sing!

I decided to take a chance and watch the new Dune movie a few days ago and I really enjoyed it! I wasn't sure if I would or not since I've never been very interested by the books but it was a lot of fun to watch and extremely well made.

i actually saw Scream 2022 in the cinema and honestly would not recommend because I am so scared of horror!!! To be honest, why did I even go and see it!! I will say there was some super cool commentary throughout the film on how horrors are structured and how they've changed over time. I really loved that because I learned a lot through it Huge TW for lots of gore though of course and it is an 18 btw.

@AislingDM - Ooh, thanks for sharing with us! It is good to hear what you don't recommend just as much as the stuff you recommend. That way we can avoid it if we also don't like horror. I can hear how much someone who enjoys horror may enjoy it though!

1000% @Laura_tigger82 loads of people are just nowhere near as squeamish as me, and I defo envy them!! I've seen some online horror fans who have loved it up which is a good sign


The other day I saw the new Tom Holland one, 'uncharted' which was pretty cool for a treasure hunt-type film!! I love anything that follows a pretty light storyline though to be honest. A great watch for a quick casual cinema trip I'd say xxxx

I watched Boyz N the Hood (1991) on Saturday. I am extremely late to watching this, of course, but it was one of the best films I've ever watched. The acting, direction and important messages from the film were amazing and I was so grateful to watch it. I must say, huge TW for violence, however, so take care when watching it guys xxx

Rewatched (for like the 500th time) National Treasure 1 and 2, abso loved those films as a kid and now, like there is something so heartwarming about it and I love the chemistry of the characters. It's very pro-America though, which for me as an adult feels different watching, but regardless it'll always hold a special place in my heart. So, if you're into treasure-hunting films, go for it !!!

Recently I rewatched Pitch Perfect when I was feeling unwell and it brought a big smile to my face, rewatching with my different perspectives made me realised how many cancelled things happen in it though, I must say!

Also rewatched the Twilights for my birthday and honestly they still bring me so much joy each and every time, no matter what, so glad they exist, can't believe it's been ten years since the final one came out too haha xxx

Very emotional film @Brookee and I know some people have criticised how Tarantino portrayed different characters. I must say, phenomenal acting from Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington in particular !

I recently watched A Cinderella Story again and truly that script is hilarious, but I do love all the outfits tbh

@AislingDM I agree, their acting was absolutely incredible. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I'm so glad that they won in the end and got to live happily together!
