Last film i watched was Paddington, 🙃was a nice lil film

What was the last thing you watched?
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

The Glass Castle. It was really sad but really moving story :)
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

@Aife    . I ve finally watched this now ahh.
I liked it!  Though Was really sad. But thought it was thought provoking in terms of roles of parents. & thought really good acting. But it moved back and forth in time too much, or was that just me getting confused? Ah but i liked it too!

Thank you again for suggestion Aife. Have given me some interesting good suggestions ah

3096 tage (3096 days) - film based on a true story of a 10 year old girl who was kidnapped for 8 years. One of the most disturbing and hardest things ive watched

    It's not a movie I've watched it's a trailer to a movie I have seen. Pitch perfect 4?

    Love Exposure
An absolute epic with so many different themes. Won of the greatest fils I've ever seen, Just read the synopsis.  :)

The story of a teenage boy called Yu, who falls for Yoko, a girl he runs into while working as an `up-skirt' photographer in an offshoot of the porn industry. His attempts to woo her are complicated by a spot of cross-dressing - which convinces Yoko that she is lesbian - dalliances with kung-fu and crime, and a constant struggle with the guilt that's a legacy of his Catholic upbringing.

Was a while ago now, but First Man. Really nicely directed and beautifully scored, and gotta love a bit of Ryan Gosling. New released aside, I recently rewatched both Guardians of The Galaxy movies. They really are masterpieces.

A Star Is Born. Went in with mediocre expectations, but this movie floored me. Ended up ugly crying for pretty much the entire walk home. It caught me SO off guard, but my gosh.

I also did some reading about the movie afterwards. All the music was performed live, it was Bradley Cooper's directing debut (though you wouldn't know it), and it's Bradley Cooper's first time singing. Everything about this movie was phenomenal.

I watched Christopher Robin the other night, it was a bit predictable but as someone who loved Winnie The Pooh as a kid it was still a lot of fun to watch!
