Last night I watched The Babysitter: Killer Queen, it's a sequel to the Netflix movie The Babysitter from 2017. It was pretty good, equal parts spooky horror movie and goofy teen comedy. Definitely think the first movie was better but isn't that always the way. :p

I watched Weathering with You with my family a little while ago and it really really blew me away. It's a Japanese animated movie from last year and it's maybe one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen both for how it looks and how touching the overall story is. Cannot recommend it enough!

We had Zootopia on yesterday for the kids. Good movie though with a nice message of being kind to everyone no matter who (or what) they are. Teaches a lot about respecting others

“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

I watched Sorry To Bother You on Netflix with my family the other day and it was very good, fair warning though it gets very strange towards the end.

Rewatched Parasite with my friend recently, since they hadn't seen it before. Still love the movie. Makes me want to rewatch Memories of Murder at some point too

Rewatched the divergent series since I started reading the books, I’m hooked. Completely addicted now, feel like I can’t do anything else but read and watch the films/cast interviews and other things haha. If you love sci-fi I highly recommend it!!
