Re: Just need general mh advice and a judgless vent
Hey @Lucy_21
Sorry to hear that you are feeling bit stuck at the moment. I feel like it can be really difficult especially when you have finished something and are in that ah what should I do now phase. I'm just wondering have you looked into volunteering? this can be a great way to develop your skills further and also meet new people and learn a lot and feel like you’re making a difference in the community even if employment feels too much right now. I would say maybe taking a first step of this would be to just type in a calls that you’re passionate about maybe something around disability and then having a look on their website and maybe getting in touch via email with them to see if there’s any opportunities for you to help out? I’ve also found this website really helpful opportunities that might be out there in your area or online as well. It can r quite accesible you just need to sign up with an email account
https://www.becollective.com/
I can also hear how it can be hard to get that support you are worth and enittiled to the support and sometimes it can be really exhausting advocating for yourself and fighting for this support. I'm just wondering is there any jobs/ courses or anything
I'm just dropping in a resource that might be helpful from youth employment uk. They have lots of virtual work experience, tips/advice for employers and young people looking for jobs and videos. Hopefully there is something that helps in there

I’m thinking of you and if you have any questions or anything, just give us a shout. We’d be more than happy to help. I know it seems really tough and I but sending you so much strength.❤️

Re: 25 or over
you can still use the mix when you're 25. it's only when you turn 26 when you lose access to some features such as the support group. you can still access the discussion boards though.
Re: Just need general mh advice and a judgless vent
@Lucy_21 you've taken a big step by opening up. No matter what you're going through this community is here for you. Your feelings matter and your mental health too. We empathise with you and we'll support you.
Re: Hey I’m new
Hi @Lucy_21 welcome to the Mix. It's so great to have you on board with us here. I think you got a great mission and I think its really good that you are raising awareness of bullying and want to help others here too who may have gone through something similar. I hope you enjoy on here as well
.
Look forward to seeing you around on the boards,
Amy22
