I think I want to start going to the library again this year. There used to be a small one round the corner from me that I spent all my time in when I was a kid but it got knocked downI definitely need to find another !
Apparently they got banned because they included talking animals and in America and some certain states having talking animals in books connoted they were demons or something which makes no sense at all.
Aw no way that's a shame that your old library got knocked down. Hopefully you can find a new one soon

With this though you have to think about the inner mechanics of things as well. But also for the sake of cars boots are counted as a door so it that the case for this debate too? But I still think it's wheels as most cars have 5 (with a spare) and maybe the steering wheel. then you have toy cars, trucks etc but also hidden wheels in objects. And legs make tons of wheels for their builds so so they count.

I know that being able to speak every language would be waaaay more practical but I feel like I'd be able to entertain myself so much more if I could play every instrument. I'd have a one woman band for sure

Hello @Invisible_me. The thing that is most difficult about reasonable adjustments is the word 'reasonable'. It depends on your employer what they wish to put in place (and find 'reasonable'), as long as they are not discriminating against you.
I am autistic but also have multiple chronic conditions and the adjustments I have in place are changing over time (and with different employers). At the moment, I am in a supportive space and my adjustments include things like:
I think it is worth adding that most of these adjustments have had to go through HR and senior management. However, this would not be necessary in all workplaces or in all circumstances.
There are many other things too! I can see @ebyrne556 has also posted some reasonable adjustments which help them. What do you think might be most helpful for you?
I have often found one pattern which is identifying what is difficult and thinking of solutions based on this is helpful for knowing what you can ask for!

- Additional breaks a day (15 minutes) (in addition to the standard lunch break)
- 1:1 conversations with my manager. These are currently daily but over time will be reduced to once a week.
- Equipment: an ergonomic chair, an ergonomic keyboard and loop earplugs
- Read Write IT software
- Ability to do hybrid meetings from the back office, rather than the front-facing customer service desk

(Non serious post) I’ve had the weirdest fucking dream about an old bully
You know when you think about someone a lot to the point where they would show up in your dreams.
I talk a lot about a guy who bullied me by pretending to be “attracted” to me as a joke to humiliate me as the new coworker. He also did this while he was in a relationship with another woman.
Me mourning over that incident has definitely led to him and his girlfriend showing up a few times in my dreams.
And quite recently (as seen in previous posts), he called me out for celebrating his leaving date; which I apologised for, but he took no accountability for how he made me feel and belittled me numerous times. Hence, he’s been on my mind for four days (including today) because I’m dreading going back to work and encounter him.
Now that I’m done boo-hooing, I’ll get onto the funny dream 🤣
For context, his girlfriend teaches dance classes. Last night, I had a dream where my workplace posted a video where my bully’s girlfriend was teaching him how to twerk, and he was throwing it back aggressively.
Thanks for the scaring dream 😀👍
