Re: Dream about meeting a girl
@TheNightmare No problem!
Also if you pursue your hobbies and stuff like that you’ll eventually meet someone because things like hobbies lead to friendships and relationships

Re: Dream about meeting a girl
@TheNightmare I’m a 19 year old guy and I’ve never been in a relationship so I know how you feel
The advice I would give is don’t feel bad about yourself because you’ve never been in a relationship, it takes some people longer than others to start having relationships and thats ok, especially these days when meaningful connections are becoming harder to find and covid has taken two years away from our lives, and just remember that society pressures young people to be in a relationship and lose their virginity way to young, like people expect you to lose your virginity at 16, which is ridiculous because you can’t even have driving lessons at that age, so theres no need to feel ashamed about being single or virginity no matter what society says
So just take your time if you have to, and don’t rush into relationships because if you rush into something like that its more likely to not end well, but if you take you time and be patient and try and find relationships irl rather than online you’ll eventually find the one
Good luck you’ve got this!
@JMMV2005 Thanks for sharing that and for the encouragement! You're right—there's no need to rush, and taking time to build meaningful connections is what really matters. Appreciate the advice and positivity!

Re: Dream about meeting a girl
Hey @TheNightmare thanks for reaching out
I can understand your worries about having a relationship - your fears of potentially bad experiences are definitely understandable. I suppose as with most things, there will be ups and downs when looking for a romantic relationship, but there will be someone amazing out there for you
Are there certain aspects of dating apps that particularly concern you? I know they're not for everyone, but they can still lead to long-term relationships (speaking from my own experience!

Re: i am so angry at myself 😭💔
Ah, @eylah , last night sounds extreamly difficult. I'm so sorry that you were struggling that much and feeling so alone. That feels heartbreaking, and honestly horrible to be threatened with being arrested when you were just missing your mum so badly.
I hear just how furious you are with yourself today and how hard it is to forgive yourself. It sounds so painful too to be afraid that your mum would be mad at you or dissapoinnted if she knew what happened. I completely agree with @AnonymousToe and I believe that your mum would understand - it sounds like there was so much love between you, and I can imagine that her main concern would just be that you're hurting, and that more than anything she would simply want to be there for you.
You said that you feel stupid, and I can imagine it's so frustrating because you feel so clearly in your mind that you don't want to touch alcohol ever, and yet, when things are very stressful or you're struggling to cope, alcohol has been something you've reached for. That makes sense, @eylah , even though it might feel like a battle going on inside you. We don't judge you here in the slightest, and from where I'm standing you've simply been trying your very best to cope through unbearable circumstances.
Grief can feel messy and all-consuming sometimes, and perhaps it doesn't always feel within your control. That's overwhelming, and we're here for you every step of the way, no matter what happens.
