Re: Not wanting to do stuff
@TheNightmare I hope you are feeling alright.
I completely understand how you are feeling. If anything, I have been feeling the same for the past few weeks and I dont know what to do. I just do not want to leave my bed and I do not want to go out with anyone anymore. I dont know what i want and what i enjoy anymore. It is sad really, because i used to be such a family and friends person- but it is becoming so raining by the day and I don’t know what to do anymore.
I hope things get easy for you and you eventually manage to feel like you can go out and enjoy things.

Re: Preparing for uni
Hey @AnonymousToe just checking in on you this morning firstly just wanted to say well done for sorting out all the hard adulty stuff. Its quite a overwhelming and stressful process but u did it so amazing job! Being someone who has 3 kittens I can totally empathise with how you are going to miss your little kitten friend. Its never easy leaving them behind especially when you are going somewhere new. I wonder maybe would you be able tot take some cute pictures or if you have any already maybe you could print them out and bring them with you? I know it might be hard to see him but also I was wondering if someone could maybe face time you when you are at uni and when the kitty is visiting so you can still see them?
Thinking of you and sending strength and love for this transition to uni. You got this ❤️

Friday Support Threads!
Hey everyone,
Just a friendly announcement that our Friday Support Threads are happening tonight and will continue throughout the extended chat break.
We understand that the recent schedule changes have been a bit frustrating, so we want to make sure you have a form of support during this time
Hopefully this is good news to those of you who regularly attend the Friday chats, and maybe for people missing the daily chats too

Re: Just need general mh advice and a judgless vent
Hey @Lucy_21
Sorry to hear that you are feeling bit stuck at the moment. I feel like it can be really difficult especially when you have finished something and are in that ah what should I do now phase. I'm just wondering have you looked into volunteering? this can be a great way to develop your skills further and also meet new people and learn a lot and feel like you’re making a difference in the community even if employment feels too much right now. I would say maybe taking a first step of this would be to just type in a calls that you’re passionate about maybe something around disability and then having a look on their website and maybe getting in touch via email with them to see if there’s any opportunities for you to help out? I’ve also found this website really helpful opportunities that might be out there in your area or online as well. It can r quite accesible you just need to sign up with an email account
https://www.becollective.com/
I can also hear how it can be hard to get that support you are worth and enittiled to the support and sometimes it can be really exhausting advocating for yourself and fighting for this support. I'm just wondering is there any jobs/ courses or anything
I'm just dropping in a resource that might be helpful from youth employment uk. They have lots of virtual work experience, tips/advice for employers and young people looking for jobs and videos. Hopefully there is something that helps in there

I’m thinking of you and if you have any questions or anything, just give us a shout. We’d be more than happy to help. I know it seems really tough and I but sending you so much strength.❤️
