Re: Struggling to sleep
Hey @TheNightmare, I can hear that you're finding it difficult to sleep at the moment, and how you're feeling tired in the day as a result. Would be able to explain a bit more about the time you're in bed but can't sleep? What's on your mind during that time? We're here to support you

Btw here's the song if anyone want to check it out:
Re: Negative feelings
Hey @JMMV2005, thank you for sharing your feelings on here. It's not silly at all, and I'm glad to hear that expressing yourself is helpful - that's what the forum is here for! I can hear how the concept of connection is on your mind, and that you're feeling isolated especially after watching the video.
While we might not be able to connect 100% with someone, that doesn't mean that we can't form connections with people. 100% might not happen, but 90% or 80% (or even lower) is still a good connection. Connection can be strong ties that last for decades, but exists even in the small, occasional interactions we might have with people we don't know so well. Don't give up - it's okay to feel disconnected sometimes, and many people will feel that at some point in life. You're certainly not alone in how you feel
You mention that you're navigating other challenges at the moment, like life changes and developments. Would you like to explain a little more about what you're going through? We're here to listen to you

Re: a breathing technique for those who may need it 🫶🏻
hi everyone today i found out abt this technique called ‘box breathing’ some may already know abt it but i thought id share it with the mix community bc some may benefit from it in the moment of stress or panic. i hope your all ok or doing as best as you can remember you matter greatly and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. keep going ❤️
1) sit or stand with a straight back and close your eyes.
2) breathe in slowly to a count of four.
3) hold your breath for a count of four.
4) breathe out slowly and steadily through your mouth, counting to four.
5) hold your breath again for a count of four.
repeat as many times as needed remember you got this ❤️🫶🏻
This sounds good I might try it myself, thanks for posting this up.

Re: my positive recovery
@eylah , that's wonderful to hear! Food can be such great fuel. I really want to celebrate you right now - how you calmed yourself down after that panic attack a few days ago, and ate 3 meals even though you don't normally!
Every time you do something that you didn't think was possible before, you're creating memories that you can 'bank' for yourself to use in the future, to remind yourself that you CAN do these things
Even if eating feels hard again the next day, or a panic attack gets overwhelming again (because recovery doesn't have to be linear to be valid) - each of these steps that you're taking can serve as reminders that it's possible to feel better too
How gorgeous!
