Here4you
Hey you lot, me again! Just wanted to say big thank you from myself and the team for being part of the campaign
For those who were in chat, I mentioned another roman kemp documentary. Here is the name for the those who want to watch, please be ware there are distressing topics such as loss of a friend to suicide at multiple points if that’s not for you. “Our silent emergency” this talks more generally about the mental health struggle across the UK.
Have a wicked weekend

January achievements, with a theme of connection!
Hello everyone, I hope you've all been keeping well this January! I wanted to continue what I started last year, which was sharing what we've achieved each month - because reading all your posts last year really warmed up my heart
Achievements don't need to be massive - no matter how small they might be, it's the positive impact on you that's important! Feel free to write as many as you wish
Here are some of my achievements this month:
- successfully managed to get a research fellow position
- took small steps to combat my germaphobia
- finished reading a really good book which got me out of my reading slump
- wrote a short poem that I'm really proud of
As well as achievements, I also wanted to add monthly themes related to mental health. Inspired from Brew Monday this month (more info can be found here!: https://www.samaritans.org/support-us/campaign/brew-monday/), I'd also like to know, how have you have stayed connected with the world/with others this month?
- for me, I've stayed connected to the world by allowing more time for creativity - recently I've been writing poetry and relearning previous songs I played on the piano. In terms of connecting with others, I was able to have a day where I reunited with other psychology placement students, where we talked about how we've been finding our placements so far
Well done everyone for getting through January! I'd love to hear what you've done this month

@kaii This is a great idea!
This month I've
And my sleep has improved i.e. I'm starting to get enough hours more regularly
I've stayed connected to the world by trying to stay in touch with friends I don't see as often that are still in school or are at a college that's not local
This month I've
- Caught up on assessments that have been coming quickly
- Noticed when my mental health has been struggling and taken steps to help with this
- Gotten really good feedback from my lecturers

I'm Back!
Hi everyone!
I was active on here over the summer and I enjoyed interacting with everyone on the discussion boards! I got really busy when I got back to university but I'm back now. I hope everyone's having a lovely day

The Mix crochet project idea

Hi all, hope you are all doing well this week!. I just found an old diary of mine which has blank graph paper and I drew a mix drawing because I had an idea of crocheting a mix granny square to attach to a blanket or even to my other one I'm working on at the moment. However, I tried it before with the graphgan style but it didn't work so I am going to crochet the individual letters and do it that way if I can. I have got a Tom Daley crochet and knitting book which has got a pattern for the alphabet and how to crochet words and letters which I might have a go at. Or I could revisit the youtube video I watched to make letters in freeform. However there are so many I couldn't choose or decide where to start. This has been a project of mine I really want to.do but never got round to doing. If I do eventually make this square I'll have to definitely it share it on here. I might use that Tom Daley pattern because it's helpful. Please let me know what you folk think and whether I should make like a self care inspired blanket maybe???.
