It depends how much it offends the higher ups I guess.
As @Redemption has said, they are very controlling, and I wouldn't be surprised if they deleted everything that goes against their schemes or paints them in a bad picture.
Re: (TW suicidal thoughts and self harm) I’m addicted to making myself feel worse
@Sian321 hiya, I am capable of keeping myself safe today.
After making this post, I’ve tried venting my feelings through making music, and it’s definitely helped a lot.
I don’t have any plans to hurt myself, but I do sometimes have an urge to relapse, which I am thankfully capable of stopping myself from doing.
I have no one to reach out to, hence I visit this website for support. I’ve been clean for three to four months now. Thankfully, I don’t need any medical attention at the moment.

Just some weights and a bar for pull ups at home, and it's one of the things that doesn't really change my situation, but it does make it seem like i'm achieving something at the end of the day, rather than a day wasted with no progress made you know. And the feeling as though you've done something wrong, well, you haven't. The Job Market right now is a dead as the Dodo's. It's stuff that's completely out of our control, so don't feel like you've done something wrong or messed up. You can do everything right in today's world, and this is still the situation so many end up in. I can't promise anything, but feeling like i've advanced in something, even as small as building muscle up lol, is something that ease's the feeling of being stuck making no progress. Again, it might not work with you, but that's how i'm currently handling being in the same position mate, and i just wanted to give you this advice. And again, You're not a failure. If you were job hunting 20 years ago, you would have got one in an instant, it's just this market, not you.
Thanks so much bro ❤️

Re: Direct Messaging (DMs)
I should clarify by the safeguarding changes, I mean the confidentiality policy, not the removal of DMs. DMs on here can still be moderated if necessary.

Re: Direct Messaging (DMs)
People are feeling really stressed and confused about this, but I think there are a few really important points:
1. DMs were cut off incredibly suddenly, after people have built relationships.
2. They are working for some but not others
3. If it's a choice by the platform rather than law, who made it, and do they know anything about community?
4. Most of the active users here are young adults, rather than children, and should be able to make our own decisions about how we communicate.
