Re: How did you find our Community?
The people who got back to me on the phone about talking therapies spoke about the waitlist, asked if i was under 25, and then advised I check out the mix in the meanwhile. I didn't like the counselling, mainly cause it was webchat based, but i ended up finding boards and chats, liked it and started using it regularly.

Hey @Redemption thanks for sharing this, you've painted a really clear picture of how you feel and what you are going through at home, I imagine it can feel quite sufficating and isolated going through the things you have described. I'm just wondering if you have anyone in your family you can confide in? If you don't feel comfoortable sharing, don't feel pressured.

@MorgsSmiles24 I think there's a watch party on Saturday. I ended up oversleeping for this one and missed it too.

I just wanted to wish everyone a lovely Christmas as well - even if this time of year is hard for you, I hope you're able to do something that feels comforting and remember that everything you feel is completely valid 
I honestly felt a bit triggered earlier (I think it's partly just with Christmas tomorrow, I'm finding it kind of hard) but I'm doing okay now. I'm just going to get an early night and take tomorrow as it comes.

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I really appreciate all of you, your support, kindness, and the way you make this community such an amazing place. I am so proud of all of you for getting through this year, venting, veing so brave and I love seeing the positivity, encouragement, and support that make this community so special.

Hey @Redemption that's great new's that the first day went well, I know you were feeling apprehensive so I'm really happy for you that it went smoothly! You are making so much sense, it's a step forward to just like every achievment, figurng out what to do long term is very hard and it takes time, but it sounds like you are going in the right direction to do that, you even mentioned another job interview - that's great! I guess the more jobs you do you can note what you do and don't like which should eventually lead you to something that feels like a good fit, is there anything you do or don't enjoy with your new role if it's not too early to tell?

I don't feel in the spirit though. I am trying to show up for my kid, this time of year is so overwhelming and there are a few people this year that have passed which is making things more difficult, but I am trying to be strong for my kid.
I am feeling alright about tomorrow, we will just take the day slowly, as it also depends on how my son is. I may miss church this year and try again next year.
