Hey @River, thank you for sharing this with us. Echoing with @AnonymousToe says, a child does not deserve abuse, and a parent has no right to abuse a child. Being stressed about parenthood doesn't excuse that at all. Please don't blame yourself for seeking attention and love from your parent - that's what a young child needs. I wonder, have you spoken to a therapist or counsellor about these feelings? We're here to support you.
