Books
hi so I really just want to share some books ive been reading recently and ask people about the ones they're reading.
books I love include The Quiet At The End Of The World, Green Rising and Last Seen Online by Lauren James, lots of Non Prats's short books, Betting On You and The Do-Over by Lynn Painter, The Lie Tree by Francis Hardinge, and id love to hear what books other people like
also, as a side note, I want to read some Sylvia Plath (Ariel specifically) but am unsure if it's going to be too intense because of the poet's obsession with death, so reading it over the summer on my own might be too much, so would really appreciate someone to give me a clear understanding of the sort of stuff she talks about and the intensity of it. thanks hope you have a lovely day/night

@toffuna101 It's been a tough day for you then. This is the last thing you need right now. If they don't stop, you might have to make a noise complaint about them cause there are noise laws in place for things like this.
yeah i tried to send in an enquiry about this to my local council but they didnt do anything.
@toffuna101 It might be a good idea to just drop the police on a non emergency line a message, and record the noise if you can.
idk how to. i tried to report it online but it said that noise complaints can only be done through my local council.
@toffuna101 you may have to keep pursuing it with your council until they listen. Councils are notoriously slow to react or respond unless pushed to do so at every step of the way. I wish i could give you some better advice than this but there really isn't much more i can say friend.
yeah i might have to do that because im sick of my neighbour playing music at night.
@toffuna101 record it, and keep dropping the council messages. Make yourself too noisy, with all the complaints you're making to them, to be ignored. Drop them proof, and always have evidence to back up what your saying, and that will make a world of a difference. They won't be able to ignore or dismiss you at a certain point. it sucks, but it's the only way the councils will actually act.
yeah

@toffuna101 I can understand your frustrations and anger at camhs, but those meds are playing a critical role. They are keeping you somewhat safe and stable. I know it's not enough, and I know they've let you down, but stopping them might only make things worse for you. It isn't worth the risk.
yeah i guess so.
@toffuna101 it's important to take care of yourself. It's like the saying, don't bite off your nose to spite your face. Going off the meds can harm you, and that won't help anything. Hounding camhs with emails and complaints until they act is the best course of action.
i mean all camhs did today was like "oh im gonna talk to the home treatment team".
