Och @Gemma All our chickens/ducks are ex battery. A farmer near us buys them to save them from slaughter when they get old and lay less eggs and she sells them as pets. She rescued more than she has room for this time around though so asked a few people if they can foster some ducks until she sells them
What a lovely idea! I'm sure having baby ducks waddling about would brighten anyone's day!
