Well done all, sad i missed this one.
Re: Life's finally looking up for me
So glad to hear that you are away from negative people and situations and are flourishing doing things you love- classical music. As the saying goes, when a flower doesn't grow, you fix the environment. Hopefully things will keep looking up for you!

Re: Wen u research
Technology can make us feel weird...like it seems to 'know' about us.
What's actually happening is that google and other places 'remember' what you have looked up previously and will show you content that relates to what you have typed in before.
Also, if you look up certain things e.g. relating to hurting yourself, I think google might also show you relevant hotlines or numbers you can call. It recognises when you have typed in certain words, which are related to harming yourself, and encourages you to call a hotline e.g. the samaritans.
Has there been something on your mind that you'd like to talk about?

Re: Not that anyone would care soooo 🤷♀️
@Past User I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, and I want you to know that your feelings are valid. It's clear that you're experiencing a lot of pain and self-doubt, and we're here to offer support and understanding.
It's important to remember that you don't have to go through this alone. You mentioned feeling like people walk out of your life, but there are individuals and professionals who genuinely want to help and provide the support you need. What you can do are seeking professional help, talking to someone you trust, challenging negative thoughts, taking small steps.
Your well-being is important, and there are people who want to help you navigate through these challenging feelings and experiences. You are worth the effort, and there is a path to a better place.

Hi @Past User , I'm sorry you feel so bad ❤️ I'm not sure what to say that might help. What do you think you would say to someone if they were feeling the same things you are right now? If that makes sense? Thinking of you 🤗

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2023
Love Strictly
I find it hard to watch it live sometimes though as I work til 10pm on the weekends that I am in work so usually catch up on the dances on YouTube,
I really like Booby and Dianne, but I think they are all great.
Spoiler
Ummm I think that you mean Bobby rather than Booby. 😂

Re: Adjusting to university life - tips from The Mix
Completely agree with this. I've gone back to uni to complete my masters but I know the feeling of being a first year and how scary the whole process can be. All the slides/pictures show really good advice that we might often forget about when we start to get stuck into our studies as the semester progresses.
And @JJLemon18 - to try and attempt to answer your question, although I personally didn't join many societies in my undergraduate degree, I would say to join what you think you can manage. Whilst they are a great place to socialise and meet people outside of your course, you might not want to overwhelm yourself by joining LOADS of them as you will still have your studies to complete. It's probably personal preference as to what you think you can work with along side your course workload. But if you think you can, then join as many as you want to. They are great and do help with the process of settling into uni life.
(Hope that was at least somewhat helpful)
