Re: A goodbye from me

I know this was a bit ago @Jellyelephant but couldn't not say anything! So much to say, so little time. I remember when you joined and it's wild to think about your timeline of events since then.

As a moderator I've always appreciated the times where you were a voice of reason in a difficult or chaotic situation, and your ability to genuinely connect with people and somehow say exactly the thing they need to hear. You've also been a wonderful person for our more junior members to look up to, and it's nice to see you taking the talents you have for leadership and emotional support and building a worthwhile career with them (you'll make a great CPN!)

We'll be cheering for you. If you do fall into hard times, trust that you're able to move through them and rebuild once the dust settles. You've shown that so many times.

The general chitchat thread is broken for me. I can only see comments from page 1045 but we're on 1048 now . It was like it a couple hours ago but I left it to see will it fix itself but its still broke. @Chloe234 said it happened on the counting thread for them so I don't think it's just the chitchat thread. Every other thread works for me though

also, don't drafts automatically save anymore? I really liked that feature it was so helpful and I liked to write stuff and never post it lol but they arent saving for me automatically anymore. It was good for when you accidentally click off the page. Saves you writing it all back out.

Thread pages are empty: Turns out this is because the 'true' number of comments in the thread is higher than the amount you guys can see.

For a bunch of different reasons, sometimes posts are hidden from view. For short threads, that doesn't really matter because it's usually only one or two. However, for big threads like Count To 10k, the amount of hidden posts is high enough that it covers multiple pages. That's because the thread covers so much time and so many different accounts, so the hidden posts mount up.

That means you're seeing the 'true' number of pages for the discussion, but a much lower post count, which results in empty pages being shown at the end of the thread.

BUT, the most recent posts you can see are actually the most recent posts.
