Re: ANSWER POLL BEFORE REVEALING SPOILER!
I find these are super fun reading and the twist at the end is so so interesting. You really have a great way with words
. I chose lavender but didn't expect that ending

Re: I've been feeling so overwhelmed
I agree with Lucy above, it’s always ok to post here. The process is overwhelming and it’s no surprise it’s making you feel so down. I always think what’s meant to be will be, and everything happens for a reason. Something will come up that’s perfect for you, although I know that wait is tough.
Re: I've been feeling so overwhelmed
Don’t apologize, using your outlet choice is healthy, it stops things building and bursting later. I’m so glad we are your source of advice and confidence and will always help where we can even if it’s every day. I was self conscious about posting so much too a few days ago but so many lovely people made me realize that that is what this page is for and there is no judgment at all. By all means post every day if it is helping you get things out because we would much rather you ask for help every day than suffer alone in silence.

what a beautiful poem @Rose113 - like Aoife said, you've got a real talent
Re: finding a job
Hey @toffuna101, I can hear how you're keen to get into work! It's not easy, being sixteen and still at school, but there are roles out there. And well done for being proactive about it - sending in applications is an important step to take, and having your mentor review your CV will be helpful too!
If there's any shops near you that you'd like to work in, I'd suggest going to the shops in-person and asking to speak to the manager - many jobs aren't listed on a site anywhere, and a 2 minute conversation could unlock that opportunity for you.
And on rejection, main word of advice is to try not to take it to heart too much. Of course, rejection hurts at the best of times, but remember that they aren't rejecting you as a person - they're saying that you're not the right fit for what they're looking for. That doesn't diminish your value as a person. Fingers crossed that you get an opportunity that you're interested in soon!

Re: finding a job
I hear you @toffuna101
The first step onto the job ladder is so hard and I'm sure many people will relate to it! Sometimes listing your transferable skills from your hobbies or experiences can be a help on your CV when you don't have much work experience. Good luck, I hope it works out!

Re: I need an option TW eating disorder
The answer to your question depends on a lot of things @Lucy_21 and we won't be able to give you an accurate or informed answer just based on your posts.
The one thing I will say is that EDs take aaaaall kinds of different shapes. It's not just about hating eating - it can be overeating, avoidant eating (where you avoid certain foods, certain textures), undereating, sometimes it's emotional and sometimes it's not, sometimes it's body-image related and sometimes it's not. As @Amy22 said, Beat are experts in this stuff so I'd recommend either chatting to them directly or looking over their website for some info.
Likewise you know, there are some difficulties people can have with eating or with food that wouldn't be classed as eating disorders. It all depends on the context really and would require a qualified medical professional to go through it with you.
Seeing a GP might be a sensible first step - you could go independently without your mum's consent if it's something you wanted to do. They can talk to you about the vomiting and the other challenges you have with food and assess your case properly.

Re: I need an option TW eating disorder
Hey @Lucy_21 thank you so much for sharing this with us, I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to go through that loss alongside the bullying and throwing up
You're so brave for speaking out. Eating disorders can take many different forms, and the website Beat has some interesting information about it if you'd like to read. Have you thought about approaching your GP about the throwing up? If it's a step you're comfortable with, they could help with medical device and offer appropriate support
