Re: Mind-boggled... (long!)
@sputnik well now it also sounds like you're trying to please an imaginary audience too. You're sort of trying to 'explain yourself' (and everything you do) to people who don't exist! Who cares you've put milk in first before the cereal - Its YOUR choice to do so, its YOUR life, YOU like it that way (well I don't know that but just an example lol).
If there's people looking from the window of your fourth wall telling you "you're such an idiot" tell them "frick off" and shut the blinds... then proceed with doing whatever you were doing
Hope this helps at least a little haha. Take care!

Re: Feeling alone
Hi sir!!
You’re definitely not alone in this even though it might feel like it, I’m between jobs at the moment and might end up hating what I’ve signed myself up to do next but just hoping for the best. I think a lot of people are in a similar boat even if it isn’t the exact same as your situation!
Do you think there might be online groups for people looking for work like Facebook groups etc? I have a friend who has thyroid problems and joined a group and feels way less alone with it so im sure that there would be something for people looking for jobs to chat about and give each other motivation
I think hearing other people speak about their experiences would be good. Or even a support group from your JS place maybe?

Re: A goodbye from mod Katie (redacted!)
Awk Katie,
All of the moderators on The Mix are amazing but there are a few mods who just always go the extra mile to get involved and to get to know us on a more personal level and it always made chat feels so much more safe and welcoming. I’m not a lover of support chat and getting support in that space so general chat is always my go to and I think a moderator can really make or break the vibes of the room. You always managed to get everyone connecting together and sure, always had good craic whenever you were modding. So big thanks for that, you definitely had a big, positive impact on my mood on multiple occasions.
Cheers for putting up with the bullying from myself and @BensonE . You’re a great laugh and a great person. We’ve been very lucky to have ya as a mod.
Best of luck with everything in the new job. I know you’ll be grand anyways and do get well soon, I’ve heard the spench is awful😷🙏🏻
Would’ve feedback formed ya but sure it’s better here
