Still is a 9 year old a 'mug' for letting verbal abuse get to them?

If they don't learn from it then it's a bit silly of them, but as I said we aren't talking about freedom to do a great deal but sit there and take it. It's defensive force that can be justified in my book, not just popping someone cos they lookes at you funny or said your mum's a slag.

Nobody here has said that naming calling justifies an adult to hit somebody.

I don't think we're debating much at all here - it's simply down to what we take the actual word 'provocation' to mean different things.

Yes, of course. Suicide is one of the most selfish and stupid things you can do. Only my opinion.
