    I think i can now say it safely (without having to come back in a few days and edit it)

    I've been anti-depressant free for 4 weeks now :D I was on these particular ones (effexor) for 4 years

    I'm proud of myself because i've read they are the bitchiest bitchy ones to withdraw from. If anyone wants my method, PM me :)

    I always feel ill mental health seems to come and go in phases, i'm doing really well right now but i know it can easily be the other direction. I don't know if this is a good thing to think but it's certainly true for me that my ill mental health is a long term thing and i manage it as such, i try my hardest to minimize un-needed stresses and arm myself with a attack force of coping techniques for when things get too much- i'm not saying i'm always successful, but i try and update my weaponry constantly so i will be ready when/if illness strikes again.

    Thank you :) It feels rather odd I guess. 14 months ago, I could've never imagined this happening at all. I think that time, I was lucky if I managed one week without self harming.

    I had a fun night out with some old friends in London last night.

    I saw my consultant this morning, who said he may put me forward for an operation. This would hopefully mean I can go out without needing to rest for the next 5 months.

    Although I'm not really looking forward to having my eye muscles snipped.

    I had a really nice weekend, met a nice young man and decided to see where it went and I haven't laughed and grinned so much in a long time. I also wrote myself a long message on my mirror in eyeliner listing all of my good features :)

    I had a counselling appointment today and I told my counsellor everything that happened when I was with my ex without being pressured into talking, like I had been previously. I was about to go over the smallest things and the bigger things and not feel like I was about to self destruct.

    I just called up Virgin and yelled at them for charging me for my internet usage.

    ME. CALLING PEOPLE. ME. And being ASSERTIVE and DEMANDING and RAWWWWWWWWWWWWR :D

    Dead proud of myself. I wouldn't have been able to do that a year ago :D
