:yeees: What is it then? It's a VEGAN version of an animal product. Normally, it's called meat free bacon. Which it is.

Bacon is the name for the meat, therefore you can't have meatless meat.

E.g. we were walking home one day and I said 'Aww look at the cute squirrel' and next thing i know its 'umm actually, grey squirells are evil bastards who killed all the red ones bla bla bla'. Jesus all I said is that it was cute!!! To make it worse it was 6 in the morning and none of us had slept all night so i was ready to kill him with my bare hands

It isn't meat. It's imitation meat. Anyway, let's not get into this. Don't want to argue!

I totally agree about 'vegan bacon' being a daft name. I like B-A's response as "imitation meat".

Quorn is a fungus which is quite often served as a substitute.

I don't know, I've never tried one... but it isn't about taste ;) It's about the fact it's EVIL and WRONG to murder another animal.

I would venture that it's actually the natural order of things to eat other animals.

The phrase "Sega Genesis" gets me at the moment. When I search for Sega Megadrive on the net, I'm finding Sega Genesis at a disturbing rate. I'm not 100% but I guess that's what they called it in some countries When you're used to it being called the Megadrive, it sticks in your mind, so that Genesis sounds wrong.

I was listening to a teacher of mine today, and all the words he said were just in an odd order. And he kept saying 'sincerely' in loads of places where it didn't make sense. I just wanted to punch him continuously.

It's also evil and wrong what organizations like PETA do.

Eating meat is natural, yes the way we go about it isn't, but how to expect to feed billions of people meat? Animal cruelty will always happen - but not on the scale PETA etc make it out to be. Shit what about human cruelty? Don't see many people fighting for that these days.
