Annoying phrases

It irritates me when people say "what you have to understand is..." I don't H-A-V-E to understand something the way somebody else does, they just want me to.

ahaha. i love it when people are describing a phone conversation and say 'they turned around said.... and then i turned around and said...'. makes me picture them getting all tangled up in the phone cord as they turn round and round.

    The turning round?

'So I turned round and said, 'You can't park there, mate', and then he turned round and said, 'I'll park where I like', and I turned round and smashed his windscreen, and then he turned round and swore and me, and then he only turned round and ran me over!'

    Ultra dizziness.

I do that all the time .

I blame the Essexness though, and I do mostly stop when I realise I'm doing it.

I don't do it as often as I used to, and I DO try and stop myself as soon as I realise. It gets pretty much ingrained into you when you're from my town though :p.

    I'm shattered.
Although I only know one person that says it, and I don't like her, and she says it in a hideous whiny voice, so I probably wouldn't mind it if someone normal said it.

    A second vote for that.

When somebody says something sarcastic and then says "not"
This was a great day... not.

Thanks 1985, I was to coked up to grasp the sarcasm by myself.
