It irritates me when people say "what you have to understand is..." I don't H-A-V-E to understand something the way somebody else does, they just want me to.

Most annoying phrase ever.

proper annoying.
and "proper" instead of "really" or "quite"
 People that use the work 'like' all the time annoy me the most.

ahaha. i love it when people are describing a phone conversation and say 'they turned around said.... and then i turned around and said...'. makes me picture them getting all tangled up in the phone cord as they turn round and round.
The turning round?
'So I turned round and said, 'You can't park there, mate', and then he turned round and said, 'I'll park where I like', and I turned round and smashed his windscreen, and then he turned round and swore and me, and then he only turned round and ran me over!'
Ultra dizziness.
I blame the Essexness though, and I do mostly stop when I realise I'm doing it.
I was thinking that on every other of your threads starting with "Right, there is XY."
I'm glad I've missed this one.

oh, i hadnt really noticed you doing it!
Although I only know one person that says it, and I don't like her, and she says it in a hideous whiny voice, so I probably wouldn't mind it if someone normal said it.
I very much agree with this ^^^
A second vote for that.
When somebody says something sarcastic and then says "not"
This was a great day... not.
Thanks 1985, I was to coked up to grasp the sarcasm by myself.
