Re: (TW: suicidal thoughts, self harm, body image) life doesn’t feel worth living
I can hear how some issues you are still trying to solve @bignosegirly0. What might trying to solve these look like for you at the moment? Would you like to talk about these issues?
It is really positive to hear some issues have been resolved. Your feelings are valid and you deserve to feel supported and healed mentally.
Keep holding onto the hope - I know sometimes that can be easier than said than done but you deserve for things to get better. We are here with you along this journey

Re: [deleted]
Completely agree Gemma. I think there should be no justice for those people who hurt you @bignosegirly0. None of what happened is your fault - you’re wiser and sensible than your bullies. They’re horrible people and only have themselves to blame for that. I’m glad you’ve been feeling less overwhelmed. It’s great that you’ve been expressing your feelings through your own creativity - letting it out is important for understanding and coming to terms with our emotions, which helps us to heal.
Re: Showering
Hey @TheNightmare. We can hear how you recognise the importance for hygiene but it requires motivation and energy.
Sometimes I think planning for it can be helpful or timing it for when less demands are required. It means I have more of the energy required.
Would you like to talk about your lower mood / interview?

Re: Self esteem
Hey @TheNightmare. You are doing so well reaching out to us and sharing how you are feeling. It sounds like you have had a particularly difficult week, although you can recognise some of your improvements too.
I can hear how it is particularly affecting your confidence when things go wrong - especially when you thought they would go right. Is there anything, in particular, at the moment that is impacting your confidence?
I note you have recently had an interview, would you like to talk to us about how this has gone for you?

Re: im trying to keep going 😕
I'm really sorry to hear you're going through such a tough time @eylah. Moving to your own flat is a big step, and it's natural to feel a mix of excitement and fear - it’s completely okay to have these feelings. And remember, reaching out for support doesn't mean you’re taking up space that someone else needs more. Your pain, your grief, and what you're going through are valid, and you are just as deserving of support as anyone else. It's a strength to reach out, and the fact that you've found resources that help, like The Mix and the grief helplines, shows that you're doing your best to take care of yourself, even on the hardest days.
Since posting helps, maybe sharing a thread about moving out within the Home, Law & Money section of the boards could be a good place. But there's no wrong space for reaching out. You’re not alone in this, and we really do care about you and are here to listen. Take it one step at a time.
You mentioned that you're fighting hard against those suicidal thoughts and I'm sending you so much strength @eylah. I know you mentioned earlier that you're feeling safe - is that still the case?
I'm hearing you have to stay inside today due to the pain you're in. How do you think you can take care of yourself this afternoon? Do you have any colouring books, or crafty bits, you could do? Or do you have a favourite tv show you could watch for a distraction?
Remember that if you're ever struggling to stay safe, please do reach out to these services below who are there for you:
