  Descartes proved God existed. Through sheer logic.
  
  Shame logic isn't perfect. Proving God didn't invent it.
  
  Fucking Descartes. Only thing he did prove was we can't be sure, of anything.

  the existence of a deity or non personally means sod all, especially if its a christian god who left us to our own devices so to speak

  yeah we studied descartes at a level " I think therefore I am!"
  
  He didnt prove to others, he only proved to himself that he was doubting him self existing, but he was thinking so therefore he must exist. And then jumped to the conclusion God must exist! seems a bit of a jump to me!
