Firstly, the pessimistic view, be preapared for your relationship to end or fizzle out after you meet. You may not be compatible when you meet face to face.
Secondly, if you get past that, you will find the LDR a lot more difficult after you have met. To be honest I'm not sure from what I've read so far that you are cut out for one.
I'm not swayed or bothered either way. But if you pick the word 'miss' apart. In this context it is "To feel the lack or loss of". He feels the lack of the girl he's talking about in his life, therefore he misses her.

I'd consider a kiss with another woman/man(?), more than a mistake, especially if you care about your partner as much as you claim to.
Its was because of a kiss that i lost a boyfriend of 8 months. Yes my drink yes spiked, but thats not a good enough excuse in the real world.

Nope.. wasn't when I cheated I was single when I lost my V plates..
