BBC news reporters do not slant things in a nasty racist way that you do.

Just admit you're trolling here for the BNP and be done with it. I know you are, you know you are. Just be brave and admit it.

Oh no, racists aren't renowned for being brave are they? Just cowardly bullys.

That's on top of what I've observed first hand and what a few Romanian aquaintances have endorsed. No other ethnic group in the UK goes in for organised begging as they do

    Very selective quoting there, eh?

I'm sorry but making an assumption in your head to where someone comes from when you pass them in the street is not a sign of inner racism.
Maybe you should question yourself as to whether you're overly P.C.

Actually, making assumtions about people based purely on their skin colour could easily be construed as racism in some circumstances.

Yes but we're not talking about making the assumption that someone is mugs old ladies because of their race, but assuming someone is from somewhere nationality wise.

Yes, but it can still be construed as slightly racist.

YOU try to live on that money.

It's very easy to live on that sort of money when you have a free house, free furnishings and all your bills paid for you.

If someone tried to wash my windows I'd let them, they can fuck off if they think I'm paying them though.

I'm telling you they don't get all that. You think they don't have to pay their bills out of that £37.50 a week? Get real.

Oh well, they do choose to come here, usually crossing from nainland Europe so if they don't like the deal they could go back a country or two.

i saw a C4 doc, Breaking into Britain, on a romanian at Sangatte, he'd already been in UK, convicted for thefts and deported. His intent was to get back to UK andset up a household to get all the benefits he knew about.

Such people do exist, you know

Yes of course such people exist. But how many times does it have to be said?

YOU CANNOT EXTRAPOLATE FROM ONE CASE TO AN ENTIRE GROUP OF PEOPLE

    ROFLMAO! :D

No, its a sign of talking to someone who is so dense that you have to shout to tell them obvious facts.

You should be used to bullies anyway, being a member of the BNP.

Digressing slightly, i hear on the radio that one of the Morcambe cocklers families is intending to sue UK. Well they'll have to prove in court that the deceased was invited to UK, has a contract of work and health +safety was breached.

    bonkers

Sue UK what? Got a source for that?

Unlikely I think, seeing as they were employed illegally. Who's he gonna sue?

Ok so according to byny, I'm racist. Guess what. I don't care what someone who doesn't know me thinks.

By the way, this is a definition of racist from dict.org:

    racist
adj 1: based on racial intolerance; "racist remarks"
2: discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion
    [syn: antiblack, anti-Semitic, anti-Semite(a)]
n : a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior
    to others [syn: racialist]

How is it racially intolerant, discriminatory or prejudiced of me to think that (for example) a man wearing a turban with brown skin is probably from India?

Surely that is just common sense. Isn't that kind of getting off the point though? I would be willing to bet £1000 that the women and children washing windows near my house are Romanian, it is common knowledge and I don't see in any way how I am racist to say that.

Anyway, if someone has to survive on £37 a week, that is no excuse for begging or crime in my opinion. I know a lot of asylum seekers and refugees and every single one is in a furnished house. Yes they have to pay bills, but so does an English person on jobseekers allowance.

The difference is though, that an English person on Jobseekers Allowance receives more money and is actually legally allowed to work.

Not much more. And after 6 months they are allowed to work, while waiting for their application to be decided.

Regardless, I still don't think it is an excuse for begging or crime!

This concession was withdrawn in 2002.

I didn't know that. What about someone who was already working, was that right then withdrawn?

That seems like a crap law. I know loads of asylum seekers working now, I don't think they are all working illegally, but most of them have been here a few years so maybe the new law doesn't apply to them.

Once someone has been granted refugee status, they are allowed to work.

Princess Rosa, you make it sound like begging or crime is a natural progression for someone in this situation.........

Blagsta are you usually so aggressive? telling people to fuck off and shouting at them.

I don't come into this forum very often but I have a feeling your type of attitude would put people off joining in the debates.
