She and I are onto something really, really good!
We have employed a personal trainer, for not only is the trainer guiding us through our fitness routine, but also she is coaching us towards emotional wellness. We want more freedom from our family who kept putting unfair restrictions on us, so by becoming fitter and being taught how to cope with our emotional problems means we are becoming stronger day by day. My feeling better inside is also reflected in having a greater experience when performing. Once onstage I feel energized, though pre-performance nerves is quite normal, but the enhanced exercise routine our personal trainer has fitted us up with makes for all-round physical fitness and a greater experience of feeling better inside. She has been doing so well, too. I am very proud of her.
I've been taking much needed rest between performancies so to get pain relief from the juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Since the weather has been wonderful lately, less damp means less joint pain and what little I do experience still is being alleviated by non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs. My doctor has been very good lately.
Last weekend our concerts in Monaco were great, and half an hour ago my agent called saying we've been invited back to the club. Next weekend we'll be touring Europe with my band, so this means I won't be so active on the forum, especially next month when we'll be doing concerts in Majorca and mainland Spain and then back to Italy and Venice.
At last the older ones in our family are seeing sense in letting us spread our wings becoming more independent. Maybe hopefully we can make friends and this has got to be good.

This is great to hear! Really good that your personal trainer is coaching you on physical and mental health - they are just as important as each other and, at times, very complimentary. You mentioned you are suffering from arthritis, sorry to hear that! How are you feeling at the moment?
The tour sounds really exciting, good luck and let us know how you're getting on when you can
Thanks for spreading positive vibes :rainbow::rainbow2:

I think independence is really important and personal space. I hope you manage to make some friends😊
Hi Lucy,
Tonight I'm aching but it's probably from last night's late concert. We didn't finish til gobe 4 AM as it was a night club. I've just take a painkiller and rubbed some NSAID cream into the achy part of my back and shoulders. A nice warm hot water bottle will help me sleep.
I'll let you and eveyone know of my progress.
Yeah, I'm trying to slot in times where I can enjoy alone-time because having personal space is vital, so I can concentrate on personal improvement. I've been very troubled of late. This has been caused by the older ones in my family putting unfair restrictions on my socialising. Then my personal trainer did a whole lot of good by telling aunty why it's so important for me to make friends outside family, and now it looks as if Mandy and I can spread our wings and join in the fun with others, especially after doing a concert.
Band practice though is tiring. A musician's life is one of hard work. Practic makes perfect, but personal time for oneself is paramount if I'm to get through the next day. If I can only get better by 1% tomorrow, then that would be super. Just the 1% :thumb:
Hi Belle!x
That's amazing - I'm glad that Mandy and yourself are doing really well! And congratulations on your performances in Monaco - keep it up!x
Much love
In the meantime it's my priority to get Belle well again. She's also very upset about "something family", but I'll see her okay because she needs someone strong to speak up for her. Just thank you, also Shaunie and Lucy for your very lovely posts.

Thanks Azziman, we are doing very well as our personal trainer is setting us weekly tasks to fulfill. Interesting, but when I am not logged into the forum, I seem to feel much better.
That's great - it sounds like the personal trainer is helping you both out a lot! Also, congratulations on passing your driving test!x
Much love
Belle has taken temporary leave of the site so she can get well again. We have been relaxing a lot throughout each day because our evenings are taken up doing concerts. I need to be mindful of the potential strain that entertaining brings, and late nights because of it can take their toll. This is why having a personal trainer is becoming an anchor, a keel as it were, in helping all of us have a healthier perspective of our lives. So many rock band groups end up with failed lives and I don't want my young family suffering like so many before them. I think we are doing very well and being 'Mum' is a reward in itself.
Much love back to you
