    J got banned for his own benefit. He was very unwell. Poor bloke. He was bloody lush though.

    Must have missed the J thing. He joined bout the same time as me. Always thought he was sound, but did have some funny ideas.
    Martin Basir, he was a good lad too.

    This place has definitely changed. There used to be far more waffle on the boards and it was more of a place to hang out. Threads now are much more likely to be serious and a large number of them are related to mental health. Its a good thing because its geared to helping more people but its not quite as good for socialising.

    I remember who first showed me thesite and now we don't speak anymore. I kind of got the forums in the divorce settlements! Jeez, I remember the good old days of IRC with Kiezo, JsT, Jake0, Franki et al... And Starmarsbar, that takes me back... That was thought up by one of the great minds of our generation. ;)

    J was lovely, but clearly quite troubled. I hope he managed to find some help in the end, had nearly forgotten about his drunken antics! Though, I wasn't much better at my first couple of London meets lol.

    This thread has really made me smile. Thank you guys. :)

    That was absolutely my favourite time on the boards. I came back everyday to see what ridiculous nonsense had exploded onto the forum while I was at work.

    Also, getting to see the amazingly poor attempts at flirting that Sophia had PM'd to her. Occasionally by people who are still around and posting to this day ;)

    Edit: I'm planning a trip down to London next year, so, you know, if a meet was organised I might make an appearance.

    Briggi had twins and moved to Brazil.

    This thread has got me all nostalgic, looking back at old old threads. Many are missing though?

    Thinking about how long I've been here and how many hours I've spent in front of these boards, I reckon I owe quite a bit to this site.

    I met one of my best friends because of this site! well, i probably would have met her anyway because we had lots of mutual friends (in real life) but this site helped it along and 8 years later still going strong! ahhh :)

    I think when they updated the boards a few years ago a lot of old posts got deleted. I'm not sure if they're totally gone, but I know you can't find them on your own profile any more. Maybe you could search for them in the search bar?
