I have no idea but there are some likely suspects: capacity, char baby, randomgirl, girl gunner, kittykatty, jst, lisa, candy, glittery vodka, beckyboo, littlemissy (), rachie004, Lisa simpson's saxophone, lolly, hermione, dominatrix, brinamite, shyboy, namaste, piccolo, byny, kaff, Kentish, tweety, 1983, zella... bloody hell it could have been anyone :p

it definitely wasn't kermit cause I was well scared of him :p

oh, brinamite! he was as obsessed with the lion king almost as much as me. I wonder how he is. was it deeeeb with a jumping fish who started the ants thread?

weird, the totally irrelevant things you remember, yet I can never remember where I put my keys.

I do remember that little m issy helped teach me the joys of knitting because I was jealous of all the awesome stuff she made! according to my rav page that was nearly 6 years ago :/ * old*

Brinamite was a fellow don supporter. We bonded that way. I am very proud of your knitting skills. I'm so pleased you think of me as instrumental in your learning

Mine was Calvin, who left so long ago that I suspect there's only a handful of people who will remember him.

It makes me feel like I've been here for ages when all the oldies are saying "I remember this person from years ago" and I remember them too.

You have been here ages, though - 4 years!!

Franki  I'm glad I did something useful in my time here.

As for others, anyone else remember angel babe and slinky and the huge bust up when she left?

And karla, susie and clairebears toaster? Ah, them were the days.

I suppose it has been quite a while!

I have so much love for all the "oldies" on thesite, I was a right brat when I first joined and you've all helped me so much and gave me the chance to grow up, and put up with all my teenage angst!

That's a guy I miss. I think he was surprised how young I was (and would only buy me lemonade!) when he met me in 2005/6 at a met bar meet.

    I miss meets!!!

There always seemed to be meets a few years back, but I never went because I was too scared to go to London on my own back when I was 15/16 and I was too shy and was scared I wasn't popular enough to go. I don't think there's been any for years now

Dr pirate tried to organise one a while back. I did a while back further too, but it didn't seem to happen. I wouldn't mind organising another if there's interest, asides for the fact it would be mid July before it could happen and might be a bit too close to the next leaders weekender.

Groovaybaby was the first member I was pming / getting to know as a friend. Back then you used to make friends on the boards and PM each other more than these days... (or maybe I just am too grumpy to talk to people now I'm old). I even got an Internet girlfriend through here (she knows who she is :p). This was like a second high school with the dramas and the groups and the dating.

Now I just talk on facebook occasionally to the two or three regulars I have on there.

It took me about two years to reply to my first thread in p&d. It was very intimidating back then. Now I can scarcely make a thread anywhere else without helen moving it back into p&d for me :p

In the old IRC though it was Kiezo and Noog who I first spoke to I think.

It was nice to be here when it was really active like that, I do miss it in a way.

I remember when I first joined I was so scared of P&D. I think it was Stargalexy and Aladdin (not sure) who used to debate a lot back then. Even now I rarely venture into P&D, but mainly because the threads get very long and I can't keep up!

I used to try but I felt like the older members just had more knowledge so I stayed out until someone started trolling about gays.

Yea a lot of the threads in there I wouldn't dare post in because I know I don't know enough! But there are some things that interest me and I know about, I'll post in there and then log out. Log back in the next day and the thread is 10 pages longer! P&D seems to be a lot quieter now than when I first joined, I think a lot of the regular members who posted in there left.

P&D used to be a bit more lively with wheresmyplacebo and stargallaxy having a good "debate". I still talk to stargallaxy but haven't spoken to placebo in years...
