Erm, for girls I like Dita, Amelia, Alana, Emma and Aubrey.

For boys I like Aubrey, Nicholas, Tristan, Patrick and Thomas.

I probably have odd taste though!

Shouldn't you give him a normal name? He will be adult for a longer time than he will be a baby. If you name him cutiepants or swoopiepoop (that's a babyname as far as I'm concerned) it will be a pretty auto-decline on the CV.

When I do decide on a name, I'm going to keep that secret til they're born, though. Stop people slagging off my choices until it's too late

    Hehe, that's what we did.

I like Niamh, Hannah, Olivia, Lucy, Freya for girls.

Boys names were tricky. We only had one that we both liked. I like the traditional, biblical names - samuel, matthew, luke (or lucas, but I taught a shithead called lucas).

But baby names are more fun.
I retract my original ideas and instead suggest Sir Boogergob!

Yep, Nora without the h! Not a fan of Norah Jones. Plus Nora is like Dora, which I used to really love (my guinea pig was called Dora!) before that Dora the explorer thing. I think it would be mean to name your child the same as something like that.

I agree about Dora- it is a pretty name but things like that have ruined it! I like old lady names at the moment..a bit worrying.

My little girl is called Bella and my little boy is Daniel.

I love their names but had a bit of guilt about not giving them Indian names. Especially as my parents were disappointed. But their dad is white British, and they have his surname, so it works out ok.

My baby is called Nastasia Electra Mussawir-Key - but i currently call her Mrs Moo and when she goes to school we are going to let her use Sasha for short as there arent' any good shortened versions of Nastasia.

Other girls names i like are - Astrid, Celeste, Stella, Poppy, Elana, Velvet.

For boys I like Otto, Arlo, Arno, Lucca, Milo.

I know a reallllly cute baby boy called Oscar so i'd have that as well.

I love Irish names but I'd get annoyed by people saying "how do you pronounce that?"
