Of course, it is also democracy if we then voted to refuse entry to all Australians to the UK for example.

Not really, the difference between someone who is already a citizen and someone who wants to become one is quite apparent.

But if the Australian PM is so worried about the spread of HIV that he feels necessary to ban any immigrants who are HIV+, then he should be banning from entry and/or kicking out any Australian citizens who are HIV+.

Because the fact remains that the immense majority of HIV+ in Australia must be Australian citizens.

Which goes to prove that this proposal by the Australian government is

a) completely pointless and inefficient in tackling HIV

b) therefore a xenophobic/racist load of bollocks
