Hi @Lucy_21 !! So lovely to hear that you've joined The Mix, and that you have such a great mission behind you. I'm sure you're brightening up your little corner of the world and it's lovely of you to share that online too!
Re: CAMHS (TW mention of attempt and brief mention of hospital)
Well done! You did it! It’s rubbish that you have to wait but at least they are keeping an eye on you 🫂
Wow lucky 😂

Re: Taster session tomorrow
Hey @TheNightmare, I hear you. I can understand how past experiences would weigh on your expectations for this taster session, and that it's really frustrating to not be able to start work like you want. You're doing lots of things right to get that going - applying for roles and getting opportunities like this taster session can only happen because you're striving to reach that goal. I know it's hard to take the rejections, but it doesn't diminish your efforts so far - try not to be disheartened at your journey so far.
I know how much you want to get working, but try not to put too much pressure on yourself for this one taster session if that'll distract you from the taster session work. Don't worry about the outcome and implications, and focus on one stage at a time, and I'm sure you'll do great. We're cheering you on, let us know how you get on!

Re: Taster session tomorrow
It’s perfectly normal and natural to be a bit nervous especially when you haven’t been in the situation for a while. The best thing you can do is be confident and show them your potential. My mum once told me that even if you are nervous, try not to appear nervous. Confidence will do you a lot of favours.
Re: Think it might've been one of the scariest moments of my life
Hey @Chloe234, sorry to hear about what you've been through. It sounds like you had a really scary experience, and I'm glad to know that it wasn't worse.
I think that taking things slowly to get back into things sounds sensible to ease yourself into things. It's true that the longer you stay away entirely, the harder it can feel to get back on the board (based on what surfing friends have told me!). Getting lessons or being with a lifeguard might be a good idea if you have that option available to you, at least until you've built up your confidence.
I can hear how much you've enjoyed being on the water before, and how much you've enjoyed the journey so far. It'd be a shame if you weren't able to have that again, so really hope you're able to return to surfing soon when you're comfortable. We're here to support you through this!

Re: ⏱️Action required! Opt-in by 11:00am on the 26th to keep your boards account and data
Yep that'll be it - we're doing some maintenance so everything is offline right now.Okay thanks @JustV Is this why it's not been letting me sign into Support groups/has logged me out then? (I noticed earlier so tried signing back in) and okayy I think I've done the form

And nice!

Re: struggling with urges.
Hey @eylah, just wanted to reach out and check in on how you're doing today? I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through a painful time, and can understand how hard this is for you given your situation with your father.
I hear that you're hesitant around using services due to confidentiality, based on your past experiences. I wanted to suggest some alternative ways that might help you to express your emotions. A diary/journal could be a helpful outlet for you to express yourself. And of course, please feel free to keep using this space to talk about how you're feeling too.
Please do your best to look after yourself given the situation, and remember that we're here to listen to you and support you through this difficult time
