Re: Not feeling 100 percent well
Hey there,
Good to know that you do other things and not just job searching! I'm not very good at coming up with routines either but for me, my weekly routine often involves:
I don't do all things from the list everyday but I do try to schedule them so that I do them every few days. Not sure if this is any help to you. But in general, I find that doing a mixture of things can help to take my mind off dwelling on negative thoughts and helps me to feel a bit better about myself.
It's really good to hear that you have an interest in cars. Keep an eye out for events in your area though- there might be some free car events (in my area there was a vintage car event in a local park which was free to attend, perhaps there are some things like that in your area?). I understand the feeling of needing money to do things though. But I like that you are also trying to find things you can do e.g. go out in the garden to enjoy the warmer weather.
Hang in there and best wishes with the job hunt!

- Exercise (going out for a walk, or doing some exercises at home)
- Job search (searching for jobs, editing my CV and drafting cover letters)
- Volunteer (online or in person)
- Free time (hobbies or whatever I want do)
- Self-care (taking care of hygiene)
- Chores (it's a good idea to keep productive and on top of every day tasks such as making your bed, tidying/cleaning your room or helping out with stuff around the house).
- Family time (or any form of socialising)

Re: About itvx n britbox
Hi @ellie2000
As far as I know it's got all the same shows on there, it's just moved to ITV and they've changed the name of it for some reason, but it's pretty much exactly the same as what Britbox was

Re: I don't want to go pub on the weekend
You don’t have to go! Perhaps you could come up with something you’d like to do, and then invite people to that? So you get to decide what it is

Re: How are you?
Hey @IainJammyboy and @FordRanger
It's great to see that you both feel comfortable enough to share with the community how you're feeling and it's especially positive to see that you're checking in to see what's going on with other members as well @FordRanger; supporting each other like that goes a long way!
I second what @Sunshine12 said, this is a safe space and we're here to listen whenever you're ready to share what's going on in your life, @IainJammyboy . I understand that numbness can make it difficult to interact with the world so well done for using the boards to talk about your life - we're always happy to help, if possible.
I'm sorry that the job hunting process has not been easy for you, it can be very daunting to be faced with rejection or with not being able to find anything that feels "right" for you. Feel free to let us know if you'd like to talk a little bit more about what issues you're facing, maybe we could be able to help

Re: Getting sorted
your wording is fine @FordRanger my brain just isnt processing words very well 😭😭😭 i feel like my brains deteriorating. anyway yeah i didn't leave i just went suuuper quiet for a while. but yeah keep me updated on the job situation and stuff, im always here if u need to talk!

Re: Getting sorted
@FordRanger How have you been finding that? I'm currently searching for a job too and I have found it really testing on me. What do you do in your spare time?
But volunteering has really been useful for me, as I honestly do it as a hobby in my spare time and it has given me self-confidence to talk to strangers and be in situations I wouldn't normally like. Something will turn up for you. Try not to lose hope.
