Re: I’m a free woman - but I don’t feel relieved (TW police/suicide)
I think that’s a positive thing to hear though, even if you don’t feel positively about it. That’s totally valid and okay, just trying to say I’m glad it doesn’t seem like it’ll get any worse or anything. From what I know of it, it makes sense that you’d be frustrated and confused about why it all happened. I think it’s totally natural to feel the way you do. I suppose if nothing more is happening about it then you can begin to move on? I know it’s one of those things that stays with you, but I really hope it will be easier for you soon. I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do to process things - maybe you could try keeping a journal or something? I dont know why it’s so hard to access any proper help. I hope you’ll start to feel free and relieved soon, but it’s okay if that takes time, and okay if you don’t feel that at all. You’ve been so strong to get through all that. Sorry for this rubbish reply, I really wish there was something I could say to actually help you. Sending hugs
Re: Getting ready for university
Hey @OceanDreaming - I can hear that you're feeling worried about getting ready for university, and that's quite natural. It's a new place, moving into a new accommodation, meeting new people - that's a lot of change all in one go.
It's good to hear that you've sorted out finance and accommodation - those are two really important things to get out of the way. You've started making lists on what you need, which is great. I'd also suggest looking online for "moving in checklists" that former uni students create, as those give good ideas of things you might not have thought of.
I can hear how you want to ease the transition into uni, and it's great that you want to get used to some of the new things you're buying - that sounds pretty sensible to me. Don't be afraid to ask a friend or family member to help you the first couple of times if you like, support and company can help!
Despite all the preparation, I'd be prepared for the change to take some time to get used to - it's very common for people to take the first few weeks to get into the swing of things. You'll be around lots of people who feel a similar emotion to you. Talking to those you study with and live with is a big help - you feel less alone as you find you're in a similar boat to those around you, and you'll meet people and make friends that way!

Re: Things I want to do in august
Awk this is a great idea and those are good things to be doing for yourself

Re: Struggling
hi. @Chloe234 . that person who said that. is probably jealous of how lovely you looked. they probably are sad with themselves. so taking someone elses confidence makes them feel better about themselves. but we all know your lovely. ik its hard not to take it personally. but you should wear that top and flaunt it. dont let them ruin your day. your scars are a story. a story ppl dont understand. your scars apart of you. you shouldnt cover up bc it triggers someone else. you should be allowed to go out with short sleeves. you are a beautiful person. chloe.

Hey @Ambreena, I moved your post to General Chat where it fits a little better.
I don't know enough about web dev to answer this, but maybe someone else can
