Re: A goodbye from me
It's so lovely to hear how much The Mix has meant to you @Jellyelephant. I remember so many parts of your journey here with us and can't quite believe time has flown by that quickly. We're all so incredibly proud of you and how far you've come. You really are amazing and have been such an important part of our community here. You will be such a kind, supportive and talented CPN and I'm wishing so much luck in your next steps. I'm glad you won't ever forget us, we won't ever forget you either

Re: It's tough out here
Hi @MCourt03 nice to meet you and welcome to the mix!
I understand that you're having a bit of difficulty making friends and having a social output at the moment. I don't know how sport-inclined you are and if you like to play any games in particular, but you could consider joining a beginners group for something like tennis or badminton? I see that you'd like to improve your fitness, and this might give you some help towards that before you aim to join the royal navy? Just a thought - I know a lot of sports groups are really friendly and often have WhatsApp groups you can join to do socials. If you're more on the creative side, you could look into joining a crafts group of jewellery making group! I've seen that these are pretty affordable
Let me know what you think

Re: A goodbye from me
Awk Jelly,
Saying goodbye to you feels so difficult. You were one of the first people to welcome me on The Mix and I’m sure it would’ve taken me so much longer to settle in if it wasn’t for you. Thank you for always being kind to me and for always checking in to see how I’m feeling, it never went unnoticed and I’m feeling very grateful💙
Good luck with everything you decide to do and whenever things get tough and maybe you’re feeling a little anxious remember that you are capable of doing anything . I do really believe that you are.
Real proud of ya Jelly and I’ll miss you 💙

Re: tw//: domestic violence. self harm.
@eylah I'm so sorry you feel let down - that is totally understandable and I'm so sorry you had to do it on your own
that must have been really tough but well done for getting through it. You really are so strong. You are also always allowed to feel whatever feelings come up, especially when you feel let down by people in your life, so please do keep sharing them here for support and some virtual hugs on here whenever needed.
I also just wanted to make sure you knew that you are loved on here and we're here whenever you need us. I know it's been said but it's always worth being reminded. How are you doing today?

Re: tw//: domestic violence. self harm.
hi @eylah
first of all, i hope you're okay after giving your statement - i know that can't have been easy for you at all.
I'm sorry to hear your dad wouldn't go in with you; i can't imagine how it would've felt to not have had the support you wanted from your dad.
Like Gemma said before, it's perfectly fine and expected for you to feel anxious, upset or however you feel. It's important to remember that whatever you are feeling right now is valid and you are allowed to feel it.
I just wanted to say that both myself and everyone else here are super proud of you for continuing to be brave during this difficult time for you, and remember you've always got us in your corner when you need it.
