Kier Starmer probably just opinions that are disagreed, James May is probably because he's technically a rival as he has his own pub
James May is definitely a friendly rivalry, but Keir Starmer is pure hatred. He even said it himself.
I am literally so exhausted. I feel like I am breaking. It's like I'm failing.
That's right
Hey @Animalloverb, sorry to hear that you're feeling exhausted. Would you like to share a little more about what you're going through? We're here to support you.
@Redemption I don’t think being a cleaner is a bad title at all but it makes complete sense to want a title that feels most comfortable to you. I believe you’ll move into a job that feels right for you when the time comes, and until then, what you’re doing now matters more than you probably realise. You deserve respect, appreciation and good things ahead.
I am also sorry to hear you are feeling isolated and lonely now but I want you to know you aren’t alone even if it feels that way sometimes. Doing small things for yourself maybe like listening to music you enjoy, drawing, watching something on TV or taking a quiet walk can perhaps help you feel a little lighter and remind yourself that you matter. We are here for you if you would like to share more about how you are feeling and I hope you can take comfort in knowing that we care about you here.
@Animalloverb You’re not failing, no matter how difficult it feels right now. Feeling exhausted and worn down just means you’ve been carrying so much, and it’s okay to feel like you’re breaking sometimes, it doesn’t make you any less strong or capable. You’re doing your best and that is more than enough and we are here if you would like to share more.
@ivy07 That’s a great song.
I really like how you’ve used clothes to reflect memory, love and change. I think it’s brave and powerful that you’re putting your feelings into music like this even if it can be difficult to talk about emotions out loud.
@eylah You don’t have to apologise for how you feel or for sharing what’s on your mind, that’s what we are here for. It’s completely okay to let your thoughts out, in whatever way feels best for you. We are here whenever you need to listen without judgment. You matter and your words matter and you always have a place here to be yourself.
@River I am so sorry you have gone through this and I completely understand wanting to protect yourself, especially online where it can feel harder to trust. It’s more than okay to take your time with people, to let trust build at your own pace, and to only share what feels safe when you feel ready. Your feelings, your boundaries, and your safety are so important and the right friends will respect that without pushing you. And even though you’ve had experiences with people who didn’t treat you well before, it doesn’t mean it will always happen. It doesn’t have to be that way and it doesn’t define the kind of friendships you can have in the future.
You’re not alone in feeling this and I really hope you remember that you deserve friends who lift you up without ever hurting you and who really see and appreciate the true you.
Thanks amazing @Ech0 , hows you today?
Did you watch top gear with jeremy clarkson, Richard hammond and james may @so_very_tired ?
I put it on every now and then, but it's not something I actively watch. Might give The Grand Tour a watch when I have the time and get the password for Amazon from my family.
Hey folks thanks for flagging the issues you'd been having around how to flag things and how to use spoilers too with the newly updated theme here.
@Redemption , am I right in thinking you'd noticed that you had accidentally posted a blank comment? With this new theme, it is unfortunately possible to post a blank comment if you press 'post comment' before typing your message. If you do end up doing this accidentally and its feeling confusing in a thread, please feel welcome to DM us and we can get it deleted for you so that the thread flows more!
In terms of the Flag functionality and Spoilers, let me look into this and try to come back to you folks. Really sorry about these issues and I realise how it impacts upon your user experience here.
@Animalloverb , I just wanted to check in as I notice you said that yesterday you felt as if you were breaking, and that sounds so, so exhausting. How is today feeling? We're here if talking about yesterday might feel helpful. Please know that SHOUT are here for you 24/7 if you'd like some 1:1 support or feel you're struggling to cope - Text THE MIX to 85258
@Sian321
Sorry, today I am feeling pretty much the same. I just don't know why things are like this anymore.
@Ech0
I appreciate it, sorry I'm not sure on how to explain things properly right now.
Thanks @Sian321 , yh thats right, I have done it a few times, accidentally posting a blank comment, I've explained more about it on pms, basically its happens when I copy and paste a message into the text box, I like to gather up my thoughts sometimes in notes and then I dont have to type everything out again.
Hopefully you get the password soon @so_very_tired and I watch old clips every now and then. Unfortunately jeremy clarkson got sacked from the bbc
