Then here's an online version of the game that first came up with the idea of simulating a life -

Alter Ego

Loved this game on the c64, so nice to see it's still around, and remember, like life, you don't always get a happy ending

Great! Now I can indulge my homicidial tendencies without fear of consequence.

    Haha just kidding

Way too slow and boring. I got bored after the 3rd page. Plus that baby thing was gross. Ewww. At least on the sims you can press 3 to hurry it up.

Actually its nothing like the sims :p

Oh my god I got kid napped and killed!

I was so young. There was so much to live for - I didn't even apologise to my sister for stealing the last ice cream.

Oh well, at least I'll be with my goldfish again.

I died of a stroke in the park. Never married, no kids, never got drunk or did drugs. Played the field a bit though.
I think it's predicted my future.

Bloody hell, I have been on there for 2 hours :impissed:

I got married, had two children (god, there were some terrible names to chose from on there) graduated (unlike real life :p ) and died on my way to the shops in old age  :D

Anyway, back to real life! :(

    You were a murderer?!

I am tempted to go through it making all the 'wrong' decisions... tried the second time but couldn't go through with it!

I died, I had an abortion early on...and then never got sex again until after the menopause :p

I never got married, and had no family...I am going to do it again, so I can feel less depressed.

I did get to old age, and I had retired etc, and was going steady with Harvey haha! But I died on the operating table during a bybass

Nice. I got kidnapped and killed by a paedo who dragged me into his car.
Suppose there is an element of realism there..

It took me that long, but I went right to the end of old age... I guess if you die younger it'll be quicker :p I'm sure it said somewhere that you can close it and come back to it later and it'll be where you left it?

"You have chosen an inappropriate response. (Or, at least, we hadn't thought of it. Please make a different selection.)"

too many times for me to bother 'playing' this game.

I love the original Sims from around year 2000. I also brought the Sims 2 in year 2004, but I could never get into it like I did the 1st time round.

P.S. There was a "Sims Online" game released around 2002.

[edit] But ewwwww since when do I like boys?! It's not even giving me the option. I feel dirty.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
lol, play a boy then piccolo? Or would having a willy make you feel dirty?

I completely understand that, because willies are disgusting, why can't they be tucked away somewhere....
