ooooh taboo question. hehe
who did you vote for and why?
I voted for the Green party in the European elections because I identify with their policies that I know of. I am quite an environmentally concious person so I felt that was the party for me.
Locally I voted Labour. They only had the three main parties standing in the locals, and I was torn between voting lib dem because I dont like the current government, or Labour because ive always voted labour.

My mum voted the same as me but used her third local council vote for a Lib Dem because he has a cute name - Mr Dumpleton.
I might well have done that too. it seems as good a reason as any.
my OH voted the same as me too. Green party because he thinks there should be more wind farms.
Anyway im just grateful you cant vote.
London Assembly - local Green, London wide Green
European - Respect
youve redeemed yourself
When I was younger I was a staunch Lib Dem supporter and that has changed a lot in two years!
we only got one voting form
In London we were voting for Mayor, with 1st and 2nd choices and for a local represenative in the London Assembly and for a London wide representative.
You're most probably right.
But the age card is annoying. Especially when this board is aimed at an agegroup, where some are not eligible(sp?) to vote.
Plus, you can't always meassure intelligence and experience in age.
I'm voting tonight after work. Undecided on the European elections... all I know is that it won't be Labour or the Tories (or the two nasties). Respect, the Greens or Lib Dem will be the recipients of my vote. I'll be voting for Ken Livingstone in the mayoral elections though. I shiver at the prospect of Tory Shagger Norries as mayor of London.
Its looking good, http://www.ukip.org/abc_news/gen12.php?t=1&id=845
Stand in line behind the Scottish and the Welsh...
'cos a poll on their own site is gonna be oh so accurate
I don't want you to change who you support because of me, I was merely pointing out that your opinions can change before you're old enough to vote. I used my own experience as an example.
There seems to be a load of parties that I'd never heard of until this election. Scottish Wind Watch, The Christian People's Alliance etc. Might just be my ignorance though.
Because I am pro EU and so are they
And Charles Kennedy is the man
I had a quick look to get a feel for the parties. Seems to be a rise in religous and radical parties. Which can't be a good thing.
I reckon some of them are just trying to get publicity for their causes rather than get elected.
How did you vote ladymuck, if you don't mind my asking?
I don't mind you asking but that is between me and the ballot box
OK, i didn't vote Respect, are you satisfied now!:)
