    I liked The Futureheads' 'Hounds of Love', and Nouvelle Vague's Teenage Kicks. Didn't like Busted's attempt, however.

    Did not like any cover Westlife have ever done.

    Avril Lavine covering anything makes my blood boil. Also dont like most boyband covers. I do like fall out boys version of Roxanne though.

    I first heard the song from Keisha.It pretty much moved me,i like the way she sang the song everything is so perfect.Thanks to her the song is one of my favourite songs so it'll be pretty disgusting for you to call her stupid.

    Its always going to be a beautiful song, but I REALLY suggest you check out the original by Joan Armatrading and then come back. :)

    Sickly-sweet American Christian band Sixpence None The Richer did a sugary version of "There She Goes" by the La's - seemingly oblivious to the fact that it was a song about smack...:D

    Listening to dance music, I often come across covers. Some of them are amazing, but most are awful. I can do no better than name a few of them;

    + Falling Stars/Star To Fall - Sunset Strippers/Cabin Crew
    + Woman In Love - Liz McLarnon
    + Everywhere - LnM Projekt feat. Bonnie Bailey (Hed Kandi remake last year, fucking awful)

    i really like ryan adams version of wonderwall - how he completely changed the feel of the song, tres girly though!

    is the Nouvelle Vague teenage kicks the one they used on sugar rush? kinda etherial girl singing? if so that's pretty cool

    i was most shocked to see that sore point records were bringing out a tribute to the smiths with a bunch of pretentious emo bands covering the songs - dunno if they ever put it on the shelves though

    just wrong - like that how soon is now cover that was the charmed theme, makes my skin crawl...

    Madonna's cover of American Pie was good, it had the Don McLean stamp of approval.

    The Scissor Sisters covering Comfortably Numb delighted Gilmour, and he wrote it so I won't go past him.
