The "Big Lie" is indeed the modus operandi of Neo-Conservatism.

That you should subscribe to it only further demonstrates your political naivete.

Witty, but I find that its the socialists who are political naive. Neo-Conservatism is a force for good in the world if properly managed (I don't consider "New Right Thatcherism" to be a form of Neo-Conservatism or even proto-Neo-Conservatism as it lead to too much reckless greed at the expense of the public good).

Truly naive. You had better go back and not only study the ideological foundations and operational priorities of Neo-Conservatism, but take a cold hard look at the empirical manifestation in geo-political terms of the policies/agenda of its principal proponents.

Force good it is nor ever will be. Unless of course you apply newspeak revisionism to the concept of "goodness" such that it applies only to the interests of a smug and pretentious elite few.

It is the rebirth of 19th century "robber-baron" colonialism in new rhetorical packaging. Nothing more.

Do you see American neo-conservatism as a force for good in the world?

More like the return of morality in government. Not all neo-cons are assist-stripping, anti-enviromental fat cats.

I certainly do! Saddam had to go and Bush Jr. was the only one with the moral conviction to free the Iraqi people from Baathist bondage.

Besides, we wouldn't have had to fight another war if Bush Sr. and the West had provided direct millitary assistence to the Kurds and Marsh Arabs during their 1991 uprising.

Here is a link about my meeting with Galloway.

    Conservative Mind

You should become a politician, with such an ability to say nothing with a lot of verbiage.

Only to lay them open to Islamisist bondage (ooe-err)

You have a truly skewed perspective on "morality" if you consider the hegemonic aims of neo-conservatism - coupled with its subscription to militaristic imposition of those aims on the global stage - as "moral".

Its patently clear that you are far too young, too devoid of any practical historic or political awareness, and too enamoured with surface appreciation for the PR slogans employed by your ideological luminaries to discern the depth of corruption and flagrant criminality at the heart of their agenda.

Having lived long enough to watch the evolution of the movement and its principal advocates, I can but hope that the years ahead will lead you to the realisation of the bankruptcy of ethics and morality inherent to the belief system you currently, naively, defend.

    - Do you know who helped Saddam into power in the first place?

    - Do you know who armed him with WMDs and encouraged him to use them on the Kurds and the Iranians in the first place?

    - Do you actually think that Iraq, the Middle East and indeed the world is a better place as a result of the illegal war on Iraq?

And what of the hallowed legacy of Churchill who also gassed the kurds and made no apology for doing so?

If 20 years and a context of Kurdish treason during the Iran-Iraq War is no amelioration for the supposed invasion-worthy guilt of Saddam, should 80-85 years and a context of enforcing British colonialist control on the region excuse the UK from suffering a similar fate for its historic atrocities?

"Left-winger" the last desperate claim of the exposed, morally bankrupt, right-wing hatemonger.

Best you follow my earlier advice and go educate yourself on the realities of the ideological nonsense you so readily subscribe to before you allow yourself to be lead, gullibly, down a dead end path.

Exposed, morally bankrupt hatemonger? I'm deeply offended! Looks like someone has been watching To Play The King. I can assure you that I am nothing like Francis Urquhart, Nick Griffin or Alan B'Stard as I'm sure that you are nothing like Lenin, Koba Stalin and Pol Pot. As a matter of fact, I enjoy excellent relations with my local Islamic community and I am a tireless campaigner against anti-Semitism, racism in general and the government's current terror legislation proposals. Much of the ill I campaign against tend to come from the left in my experience. The twin ideologies of Stalinism and Nazism was born of the liberal left, not the conservative right.

The joke is on you junior. I'm right about this, I was right about Blair being a Nazi and that U.S. not sending enough troops to Iraq among other things. I am a visionary!

OK, so you've gone from saying "Blair is a Nazi" to "Blair behaves like one". Not quite the same things are they? Anyway - how does he behave like a Nazi? Is he persecuting jews, gypsies and homosexuals? Does he beleive in the idea of a master race? Or Volks?
