Please don't blame President Bush

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I hear people are criticizing President Bush for the short fall of the disaster relief in the city of New Orleans. And also for the lack of resources for the victims' relief. Such a ungrateful people! President Bush gave us the $300 tax-cut that we all enjoyed which created the boom in economy in USA. How soon people forget. You can not have it both way; either the tax-cut or the social services, there is no magic about that. So please don't blame President George Bush. He is a fine Jesus loving man, may Jesus bless him for all that he does. I love him so much.

Since President Bush took office he showed the world who is the boss. He demanded action everywhere, now the whole world fear us and respect us. Just nine month ago we, the people, re-elected him to the job with a mandate to proceed with his fine work. Few month ago Gallup poll reported for the ranking of the American's presidency, people voted overwhemingly that President Bush and President Reagan had tied for the first place, George Washington was at far distant second.

Let us whole heartily support our commander in chief and encourage him in his fine work, he was borne a leader and a visionary. May Jesus bless him in his deeds. He single handedly killed a lot of terrorists in Iraq. He is only one man, and he is working so hard, I heard he took his laptop with him while he was vacationing in Texas. We can not expect him to do everything. He needs our support.

I heard President Clinton cut the funding for the New Orleans' levees maintenance, so we should blame Clinton for the disaster. A Tele-Evanglist said that a tape-recording of Clinton in the Oval office was found. The tape reveals that Clinton was farting while he was doing it with Monica Lewinsky. Poor President Bush, he has to smell the Clinton's stinking farts in the Oval office!

May God Bless us all,

unes i pity your one dimensional view of the world and your inability to think past the crap that is shoved down your gob every day.......you have no boom economy, you have a vastly over inflated bubble economy that is waiting to pop........bush's tax cuts have done nothing for the average joe, but the fatcats at the top are reaping the benefits.......you can't even really blame bush because he is just the puppet out there for show, the people pulling the strings have their own agenda and i assure you it's not vaguely democratic or socialist........

I heard it was Bush who cut the money that Clinton put aside for the protection.

Noone respects the USA anymore, more and more people are turning against its government due to their expansionist warring policies.

Blaming Bush for one of the biggest hurricanes in US history now?

Christ, that man must have God like powers to be able to summon something like that.

Noones blaming him for the hurricaine. But even you must be able to concede that he has done a shit job in the aftermath.....or is waiting for 5 days to send armed guards in with a shoot to kill policy the perfect course of action after one of the biggest natural disasters ever to hit the US?

A shit job? How do you expect aid to get into a place where all the roads and train tracks are destroyed?

But never mind, clear objective analysis of the situation has never been the anti-Bush anti -US brigaeds strong suit.

How many helicopters would it take to supply 100,000 people with food water and medecine for 5 days? Probably about a million. And not even the USA has that many.

You grossly underestimate the scale of the logistical challenge the relief team faces.

    a slight exaggeration there :yeees:

you could carry out an operation to feed and water all those people with a few hundred helicopters, have you not been watching the news at all. to all intents and purposes, new orleans has been completely evacuated now, using a lot less then a million helicopters

They seemed to do ok in SE Asia though, support was out there instantly. In America they just encircled the area for security measures and have gone in shooting and arresting people.

No it wasnt. And what support did arrive was brought through US navy air power.

The army was already there. And in case you didnt notice there arent 500,000 US troops down there.

    i do.

from what i've seen on the news, there are clearly 2 pictures being painted towards the looting situation. it appears that the white population are being labelled as ingenious for trying to source sustainance for their families, whilst the black population are being labelled as thieves for doing exactly the same thing.

it appears to me that the predjudiced attitudes of the southern states of the 50's are still present
