Any football fans in the room??

If any of you weren't aware, I'm a huge Liverpool fan 🔴

I've seen quite a few online communities run chats after each game week, and also discuss score predictions for upcoming games which could be pretty fun. A few of you might have played fantasy football before too (fantasy premier league / WSL) - I know we're coming towards the end of the season now but we could even look to create our own Mix league for some healthy competition 🤪

Give me a shout if football is your thing!

    Also a football fan here!! i am in fact an arsenal fan, just saw the women play yesterday!! that would be a very cool idea though!

    I'm so nervous for Sunday honestly, the way Darwin was playing last night I was like he better bring this energy on Sunday please. Kelleher has been an absolute saviour for us and has really stepped up with Alisson away so I'm hopeful we can do something against them 😅

    @Gemma im not really that big of a fan tbh but yh. I think it's 1-1 while typing this, not sure who will win. Think it's 50 50 atm

    Ah yep now finished 2-2! I'm just glad it's over tbh, was too much stress :D

    Also a football fan! Big supporter of Man United, so this season has been a patience test at times :# But we slowed down Liverpool and took the advantage away from them, so a job well done over the weekend B)

    The good news is, Arsenal did slip up as you wished! The bad news for you, so did Liverpool B)

    Meanwhile, I'm now having to pray that we finish in even a conference league spot :'(

    Takes me back to 2022 when Gerrard could have won us the league with Aston Villa almost beating Man City :D

    Had an idea - with the Euros coming up soon, there's normally Fantasy Football competitions for the tournament. We could set one up before the tournament starts this month?

    @Azziman (@Slinky @ebyrne556) you read my mind!! I have just set up a Mix Fantasy Football League for us all to join for the Euros!

    If you've never played Fantasy Football before, essentially you pick players from the various squads and you get points based on how those players perform across the competition!

    We've also scheduled in a Euros Football Chat for Weds 19th June, 7-8pm, over in group chat! That will be after the first week of games so we can chat about how the first week's gone and compare our fantasy football results!!!

    Almost the end of the first round of Euros games! What have you all made of the games so far? Teams that impressed or disappointed? Saw any players that caught your eye?

    England came away with a solid win against Serbia. Maybe performances could have been better, and still need to work out what to do on the left wing, but three points is never a bad outcome!

    All the "big" teams have come away with wins so no big surprises. Switzerland came away with a big win which I wasn't expecting, and definitely wasn't expecting Romania to claim such a big win against the favoured Ukraine in that tie.

    Best performances I've noted so far are Musiala (GER), Bellingham (ENG), and Stanciu (ROM).

    I wonder will Mbappé be playing tomorrow now he has his mask 🤔 I hope not because I swapped him for Kane and I know a few of you have took the risk by keeping him😃

    :lol:@Rose113 He's a really good French player but he broke his nose in the last game so I got rid of him :lol: He's on the bench tonight (so far) . I just checked your team and you don't have him. Might be worth sticking him on after md3 though :)

    The second round of games are now over! We're moving to 8pm kick offs, and the last round that decides who goes through!

    England struggled against Denmark, but still managed to come away with a point and top of the group. Lots of questions around the performances, especially around the physical condition and pressing game, but 4 points in 2 games isn't a bad outcome by any means!

    2nd gameweek was more eventful - England, France, Netherlands and Italy all dropping points. Georgia continue to entertain, and Group E is now all square with one game to go!

    Best performances of the game week were Kante (FRA), Nico Williams (ESP), and Baumgartner (AUT).
