Awesome @independent_ and good luck with staying awake lol. I don't have too many plans, but I should probably spend some time looking into some counselling related things and tryna chat through some stuff.

@Apollo I was thinking it must be quite rare because it’s not often that I’ve seen it here. Isn’t it weird how some stuff is really common here but other stuff just doesn’t exist basically lol.

@Past User that sounds like a good plan, I will need luck to stay awake, I had a nap today at like 4pm and struggled to wake up because I was so tired. The heat doesn’t help.

I've never seen it before @independent_ , I was at slug and lettuce and they sold it there

Never really been a cocktail drinker though I do prefer it to the usual pub crawls. :D can't really remember which cocktails I enjoyed tbh. All I remember is a drink called the Zombie and how quickly it turned me into exactly that.

I don’t drink cocktails very often because I don’t go out very often :joy:

Me neither Elle, I like just drinking at someone's house to be honest
  • independent_independent_ Community Champion Posts: 9,016 Supreme Poster
@Apollo same, or even better just staying in my own house and not socialising :joy:

Whenever someone says fireball though I think of that “I’m a fireball” song and now that bloody song is stuck in my head at 3 in the morning :joy:

I dunno if I know that song to be honest

Kind of agree, but I looooove getting drunk with my stupid ass friends, I love them so much and its always so fun and feels special every time

It was on some TV advert @Apollo and it just keeps saying “I’m a fireball” over again lol but fireball is sung in a weird voice. I don’t even know who sings it :joy: it’s one of those songs you know but don’t know where from

Aww, that’s lovely! I’m glad you have fun with them! I don’t have that many friends and a lot of my friends don’t drink for lots of reasons, and pretty much all of my friends are introverts just like me (or online friends). So I rarely go out, last time I was out out was with my sister on a rainy Monday afternoon lol.

@independent_ what did you and your sister do?
  • independent_independent_ Community Champion Posts: 9,016 Supreme Poster
@Apollo just went to a pub that sells flavoured gin (which my sister likes) and I tried a couple of the flavours and then we just drank the afternoon away hahahahahaha! Was actually pretty fun.

It sounds fun! I wish I enjoyed going out more than I do tbh. It always feels like something goes wrong.

@Past User before I turned 18 I was desperate to go out drinking, but I turned 18 in lockdown so I couldn’t go out and now it seems far less appealing than it used to. Lockdown has turned me into such an antisocial person I’m not who I used to be at all.

Well I'm really sorry to hear that :/ I hope now that things appear to be settling you'll be able to get back into old routines and start enjoying yourself again.

I've been like this for as long as I can remember, lockdown just made it really easy to excuse never having to see anybody. But it would seem even the most introverted people still need some level of interaction cause I've been completely wrecked by years of isolation :D

@Apollo I get that, I do miss the old me, I was doing so well.

But tbh if none of this had happened I might not have gone back to group chat after being out for a year and I might not be here right now. So yeah, gotta look at the positives.

@Past User I guess I do need a bit of socialising too, but not anything overly crazy like going out out, nice chill things like a chat with my mum in the car or the kitchen or chatting to you all here.

Mmhm, no matter what there's always positive aspects to certain things, small things change everything g so much
I dunno I get sentimental too often and I miss shit from the past but I feel happy with things at the moment

@Apollo I get like that too tbh, I miss old times and the people in them more than I probably should. But I’m so glad you’re happy right now.

But on the bright side @independent_ even if it's only a little sleep you managed to get, it should still help make it easier for you to stay awake today. Then hopefully you can get to sleep at a reasonable time tonight. :)

That’s very true @Past User I’ll just have to stay awake and hope tonight is better.
