Hi everyone :)
Just wondering, would anyone out there be nice enough to make me an avatar with my name on it? Ive wanted one for a while now after seeing everyone elses, they look really smart, and if i made it myself, i would be there forever,wouldnt know where to begin!

    just get some pegs. Pegs are good for so many things... like erm... holding clothes and erm.... well, pegs are crap really aren't they?! *goes off in a silent rant about how stupid pegs are* lol x

    Picasa is good, it's a google thing. More simple than photoshop... it's free to download :-)

    banksy is cool :) but it will look squashed once you have re-sized it to fit the dimensions needed, and it wouldnt do it any justice :P

    And notanotherusername, it cost quite alot....you can download trial versions and if you know someone with a copy of it, just borrow it and put the CD key (or whatever) in and it should work, thats what i did :D i love photoshop, eventhough, i could do with another avatar, mines yonks old.

    The way I make my avatars remains as appallingly simplistic as it always has done. Most of the images come from free clipart software discs that I received with computer magazines when I had a geeky phase a few years ago. They still work, so why mess with what works?

    As for what software I use, it's usually Picasa. I wouldn't mind trying Photoshop eventually. Although I have been known to use Microsoft Publisher and Paintbrush for aspects of making avatars. Though my avatars often turn out less as images and more as poor attempts at giving myself a logo. Ah well, I've designed my last set of avatars for the SG name in any case.
