    1. Not everyone has a boyfriend. I don't and do I care? No.
    2. Not everyone's life is as easy as you think it is.

    Hey,

What are you doing to try and find someone?. Do you dress well?, are you fat?. Why don't you try making eye contact, smile?.

If your one of the many women whose only signal you give to males is by sitting at home, twirling your hair while thinking about the guy you like, then sorry but this is not going to work !!

    They don't. I don't and I know many people who don't.
    I don't believe that.

Right ok, then - I have just been told that my sight is becoming worse. I will find out soon how bad it really is. (It's around 40%, I think) and have just been told there's a chance I have Dyslexia as well. You think I have it easy? Grow up.

Read the Self Harm & Depression thread or look at www.nhsn.co.uk I can tell that very few on there have it easy.

Why even bother posting if you don't believe anyone says? You're pretty much calling everyone a liar.

So in your magical little pixie world everyone has a bf, even if in real life they don't?

If nothing else, there is not 1 male for every female in this country, so unless you think they're in blissful polygamy then every does not have a gf/bf.

It's getting getting ridiculous now with the stuff you are coming out with.

ilipintt, it's one thing to want to have a boyfriend because you'd like a relationship and want to have that closeness with someone, but that's got to be the reason why - NOT because you perceive that everyone else has one (which clearly everyone doesn't) and so you should just have one.

Also, just because some people are in relationships doesn't mean their lives are easy. Having a boyfriend doesn't suddenly mean your life becomes easy, it just means you have a change of direction and priorities. It's important to respect yourself first. But, this has ALL been said before and people will get fed up if you keep repeating the same point of view without acknowledging the reality around you. Where has this thread come from - have you had a bad couple of days?

nothing. i just hate myself really. i hate not being like everybody else and not having the same knowledge as everybody else. I'm always the last to know of things that are common knowledge. and it holds me back. I get laughed at for not knowing simple things, and people try to stop me from knowing. sometimes I feel like punching them since they have no right to set limits for me or anybody else.

    What kind of simple things?

I only found out until recently that it's wrong to take things for granted. Yet everybody else did years before I did.

I'm a loser and a loner because of this and I hate it. I want to have the same knowledge as everybody else since I think I would be more at ease then.

When you say this, what do you really mean?

I don't mean to sound rude, but you're the onlyone who can change things like this.

Well actually, although lots of people do know it's often a bad thing to take things for granted, it doesn't automatically mean they don't take things for granted from time to time - simply because we're just human and so do slip up and can't always see the bigger picture.

If you're feeling lonely then it's quite likely it's because you see yourself as separate and different to everyone else when actually you're more similar than you think. To always look for differences in people instead of shared traits is likely to cause you on-going turmoil - and is something that you need help with. Unfortunately it's not something that people on TheSite can help you with as it's not fair to assume that everyone else is in a better place than yourself.
People on this website will respond to you more comfortably if you're able to be specific about your worries - as you have been here - without assuming you're the worst off. Having more knowledge is a positive thing for its own sake, not because of the amount of knowledge others may have. Are you still having counselling?

    Ok.

    I was being facetious mate.

Coming onto a website and complaining that you don't have a boyfriend won't get you a boyfriend. There's plenty of advice here for you, go out, meet people. Have fun. If you have problems socialising then there's a wealth of info here to help you get over that.

Not everyone has a boyfriend, I don't. Not everyone's life is easy either. I take it you're quite young? When you get a bit older you'll realise that single life isn't as bad as you think now. :thumb:

    you have 2?

Why do you want a bf eh :chin: We are smelly, inconsiderate, rude, thoughtless, sex crazed and will leave the toilet seat up...And that's just the nice ones! :p;)

Getting a BF will not solve all of life's problems...Just chill and find a way to be happy about yourself. Then worry about bfs etc!
