    Nothing the police or social services could do to the parents can outweigh the absolute trauma they're going through justnow.

    They made a judgement, in hindsight it was wrong, millions of people have now cast aspertions on them for it (which is an unfortunate consequence of the media coverage) and they'll have to live with it now, irrespective of whether she's found or not.

    The face of that mother in the last couple of weeks is heartbreaking, irrespective of whether she fucked up or not.

    This has upset me deeply since hearing about it 2 weeks ago, i cant imagine what the parents must be goin thru, my heart goes out to them.. and although they left them alone and it was a stupid thing to have done i still wouldnt wish what there going thru on my worst enemy

    NOT pointin them blame at the parents, what they did is not up for disscussion!!

    Yes it cud be a bad or a good thing but at the end of the day, this poor little girl is still not with her parents where she belongs.

    Dont you think that the parents of maddie have not thought that they were in the wrong, they wish they cud turn back time, but talking like that is getting us nower, wen we cud be helpin within the search!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Maddies parents are going through hell and back travelling around the world to find there little girl and all people can think about is placing the blame. It's not on, not one bit!!

    at the end of the day maddies life is a danger here and all im saying instead of slaggin the parents off, just stop and think. this story has touch many people world wide, we all r upset and want to see maddie home safe. but just amaging for 1 second what the parents are going through.

    Im a parent of 4 children 11yrs old 10yrs old 5 yrs old and 1 yrs old i have been on hoilday with my children abroad and in this country and not once have i left them on there own can't believe any parent leaving there children on there own especially ghow there have waited so long to have children which ended in ivf then to go and leave them on there own it is wrong my children are the most important thing to me.I just hope she is ok but there parents are to blame for this they are so lucky who ever took her didn't take the others as well.

    I would love to read that she's been found safe and well but the media circus surrounding this ten weeks on and the behaviour of the parents at times is one of the most sinister things I've seen. Truly bizarre.

    I'm very, very tempted to write to Clear Channel Advertising and tell them to remove the fucking 'Missing Madeleine' notice flashing every few seconds on their electronic billboard on Brixton Road.

    Actually it could case me death or serious injury through a road accident as every day I see it (and I see it every day as I wait for the green light whilst on the bike) I get more pissed off at the mass hysteria and absurdity of the whole thing and think about it as I drive off.

    We are in desperate need of a dose of sense of proportion and common sense.
